ParticipantHello, you might not know me but you might know the artwork of DocWolph and more often his creation of the bodybuilding competition "Might of Maidens" which was a competition for various competitions of different species to show off their might.
The 2002 and 2003 competitions went so well but didn't because of lack of user participation and mostly leaving DocWolph doing most of the work. Then in 2008, DocWolph as left me to take the helm to run the next new competition but this time the rules have changed now I'm inviting all of you to participate in the newly formatted Maidens 08 and Maidens Expo. I'm inviting all artists, writers, comic teams and even regulars can participate in this newly formed version of the interspecies bodybuilding event.
The overall rules are complex but I'll simplify things here right now we are running entries for judges who will participate in the competition in which you'll check out and read out all of the entries. The entries for judges will end on may 28 when the five judges are selected. Here's how to enter.
You need to PM me on this board with with "Maidens 08 Judge Candidate" on the subject line. Any message that doesn't have it will not be accepted (unless it's a in-depth question). Also state your reasons why you should be one of the five judges for the competition and the ideal judge must be open minded and completely non-bias against any contestant of any race, species and association thereof. The deadline is may 28 in which the five will be announced.
For contestants here's how it will go down:
There are five classes for your contestant to be in.
Superlight
Contestants who are by smaller than five feet or weigh less than the mean average say around 200 lbs.Light
Five feet and above 250 and 400 lbs.Medium
10 feet and between 400 lbs to a ton.Heavy
All contestants above ten to forty feet and over a ton.Superheavy
Made for macro sized (giants) and/or for those who have incredibly monstrously huge muscle mass, forty feet and above and maximum allowed is 1010 feet for size shifters. And Three Categories (You may only choose one or if you dare all three)
Basic Pose Showcase
Each contestant will show off the basic bodybuilding poses generally used in all major competitions. To find out more look here [http://www.bodybuildingcompetitionguide.com/#POSING]Talent
Display of skills and talent that comes from each competitor. Can be a feat of strength, out of the ordinary talents and even combat/fighting/martial art skills.Specific Style
Muscle and fashion can go hand in hand and each contestant will pose in specialized articles of clothing, ranging from dress clothes, bikini's ceremonial attire and even everyday wear but must be in the theme given to this segment which is "The Elements" as in the ancient elements where the contestant wears something that represents one of the five elements (earth, wind fire, water, aether). Don't worry if two different contestants wear the same element style but can't be the same in looks. Here's how to enter…
Artists
Choose a weight class (as listed above) and create and introductionary character sheet outlining the contestant and the official artwork of the contestant in any one of the three categories.Writers
Create a 1-2 page intro of your character with stats and a official short story of your character which is between 3- to ten pages long only!Comic makers
This is where artists/writer teams or Artists who are writers come in. They can make a comic of the entrant between 3 to 10 pages long but no splash (full panel pages) unless it is the last page. Artist-writer teams an enter as one team and must work together. So far this is what I got for you to read out and understand what I'm proposing. To read out the full rules and regulations go to my http://hemisphere.deviantart.com/journal/18282061/.
Feel free to ask me any questions relating to this. I'll explain MaidensExpo if you want.

ParticipantI see your medium size starts at 10 feet. What if one has a character weighing significantly more than 400 lbs, but standing less than 10 feet tall?

ParticipantWell, that is where the and/or idea comes in. if she is smaller than 10 feet then that is where she will have to come in by how much she weighs.
So if she is between 400lbs to a ton but is under 10 feet then by her weight alone she still be a medium. Make a note on that one!
