So, I posted on the She-Hulk board about how the wikipedia entry for She-Hulk had mentioned Marvel Studios announced that She-Hulk was going to be used…
Which lead to someone posting this so, about time for the Hulk to get a new cartoon. Hopefully the box office will lead to this happening – especially if She-Hulk is in it.

Not a bad total but it has to do better than the 2003 film in the end. If it outpaces the 2003 film then they'll probably do the cartoon.
June 16, 2008 at 10:58 pm #71781Prophet TenebraeParticipantNo… it just needs to do well. The first film was as much of a commercial success as it was a critical flop, wiki says it grossed over $500m worldwide which is GOOD.
I'm a LITTLE disappointed by the opening weekend – given that Iron Man joined the $100m club – but it's still pretty respectable. Guess we'll have to see how it goes… it does need to make a fair amount as it had a BIG budget.

But it wouldn't surprise me to see a She-Hulk in the future if this franchise did have legs. This movie setup at least one future nemesis, ripped right from the comics. And there was so much other fanboy material that it would almost seem wrong not to have She-Hulk.
'course, maybe that's just my wishful thinking.

Have no fear, just know this: In Hollywoodland, desperation is the norm, being that any and all ideas will eventually bear fruit as movie scripts are not limitless and, sooner or later, we will see not only the Sensational She-Hulk, but also Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and even the omnipotent POWERGIRL herself, make it to the big screen. If they are turning out such drivel as Hancock and My Super Ex, you KNOW they are clutching at straws. It is only a matter of time before they turn to the tried-and-true and we can only hope that they are able to come up with decent scripts and actresses to fill the role(s).

Someone ends up matching their onscreen persona in ways mother nature never intended. 8)

I welcome a family-friendly, comedic superhero flick. But I do want a decent superheroine in a lead role. The possibility of a She-Hulk cameo is stronger now that Banner's blood has proven so powerful. But is it better to just have her manifest as a cameo, or give her a supporting role in any future sequel?

Are you kidding me? A supporting role is obviously better than just a cameo. With a supporting role, we get to see some extended ass-kicking by our beloved muscle-babe
