    Old news for some, but I was nonetheless sad when I learned the news yesterday. He was only 37 years old.

    Turner was always one of my favorite mainstream artist, with great artistic vision and a talent for indeed characterization. His initial work on the comic Witchblade was how I learned of the man in the first place and is still some of my favorite work. The double-cover Witchblade #1 he did will undoubtedly remain one of the most prized item of my comic collection for years to come.

    Although it happened quite a while ago…Im still pretty sad it happened. Loved his work on Witchblade, Fathom, and his short run during Superman / Batman. He did a hot version of Stompa. 🙁

    Oddly enough, there is a famed motorsport artist of the same name, but considerably older.  Until I saw the D.O.B I wondered why someone here would be interested in a motorsport artist.
