For this week, here are some pages featuring Minder, a character from the Forgotten Realms ^TM comics. She is a female dwarf whose soul was blended with an iron golem. After a confrontation with the elven god Labelas, her body was destroyed. Later, a blacksmith Dwarf threw the pieces with other metalic remains in a forge. Minder was then restored as a statue with new curves more apropriated with her gender…

As one of the (very rare) fans of female dwarves, I'm a bit disappointed that Minder got turned into a generic Amazonian human in her new metallic form.

Mind you, I normally love Amazonian women, but female dwarves are enough of a rarity that, in my opinion, they ought to be retained as they are.  Not all dwarven women need to be bearded, fat, or, as a friend of mine calls it, "mule-kicked ugly".  Many can be damn sexy.

Dwarven women tend to have similar weight to Human women, but proportioned in a distinctively more-compact frame.  That's gotta count for a fair measure of muscle (and ample bustline), right?  Any fat they may have likely would just be a natural adaptation to tolerate the dank and cold environs of the mountainous areas where they live.

I actually think that a good female dwarf in D&D is awesome. I've seen some cool pics in my time of heavily muscle ladydwarfs and had planned on playing one. Unfortunately I don't get to play hardly play D&D anymore. The group I play with have other games that we play on a regular basis. (Legend of the 5 rings, World of darkness. Warhammer 40K role play) so I never got to use her. I also had a few other consepts that I thought of first and even built a miniature for one of them. (12 ft female half frost giant using the half ogre rules) I posted the pic of the mini here b4 but never got to play with it 🙁
