ParticipantCool. Like the fun, cartoony style.
Hope you continue to develop this character.

ParticipantI did not know you draw! I missed that first post, but glad to see you're keeping it up. Miss Mass is looking much fine in digital colour 🙂 All the more impressive that you used a mouse (I think) and put up with resource-hogging Photoshop, what great patience.

ParticipantThe style is certainly different, but I like it, and the quality of her physique and the colouring is high. 😉

Yeah, I used a mouse, since the whatchamacallit that lets you do it by hand is of the money-cost variety. I used the Polygonal Lasso tool since the regular Lasso tool is total crap with a mouse.
Hope you continue to develop this character.
Oh, I will, but I'm gonna do similar pics for the rest of her teammates first.

Participant*whistles* A mouse? That's really good, man! She has a nice cartoony feel to her. Kind of wish she had her own series now. We need positive and sweet femuscle role models in cartoons to show that not every heavily muscled entity is evilhearted. Look forward to seeing more :).

I'm hoping to turn the whole idea into a webcomic at some point. (I was planning on submitting it to an actual comics publisher, but I realized that my comic will be FUN. And have heroes who are actually heroic. And win.)
(Can you tell I'm just a tad bitter?)

ParticipantIt sounds like you're channeling Squirrel Girl from Dan Slott's Great Lakes Avengers (Or is it Champions? Or Initiative?). Yeah, most angsty publishers these days wouldn't touch a story with a sense of humor and fun to save their skins.
I suppose that's what independent publishers are for… :).

ParticipantHave you looked into the Shapes tool, or vector programs generally, such as Illustrator? Vector tends to be more friendly for mousers, and hog less computer-resource and create smaller working files than bitmap programs like Photoshop. Just an idea. My husband is a mouse fan and also a Photoshop fan even though he has both the digital tablet and Illustrator. Whatever suits the artist.
It'll be awesome to see Miss Mass with her very own show 😀
