ParticipantLol, Its supposed to be a reference to a piece of 2 feet by 4 feet piece of wood used for good ole ass kickin. So I guess he was ready to take that weapon into action lmfao.
I know what it is – a two inch by four inch piece of wood – my father works somewhere where they get through tons of it. 😉 What I meant was that I've not heard the expression "clue by four" here in the UK, perhaps partly because we're all supposed to be converting to metric measurements like good little European Union boys and girls. :-

😀 As if you citizens of the Perfidious Albion were good Europeans. ::)
People who drive on the wrong side of the road and who didn't switch to Euro… ;D
You are to Europe, what Corse is to France, or Sicile to Italy: Islanders with a strong sense of independence… 😉December 24, 2007 at 5:02 pm #23878cpbell0033944

You are to Europe, what Corse is to France, or Sicile to Italy: Islanders with a strong sense of independence… 😉Ah, but we drive on the correct side for historical reasons – ride your horse on the left, fight your enemies with your sword in your right hand. 8) As for the Euro – why would we want to use stupidly-named Monopoly money when we've got £ sterling? I will agree on metrication, though – imperial measurements are interesting but tricky, it's the Big Brother behaviour of the EU telling us that we must convert that we don't like. We've survived as an island nation this long by being bloody-minded and stubborn – we beat you when you lot were being conned by Boney, we beat the Spanish Armada, we stopped the Germans in their tracks in 1940, so we don't take well to being told what to do. ;D

ParticipantThat's the UK spirit that I love… deservedly proud of your accomplishments.
Speaking of which, my face is still aching from watching 'Hot Fuzz', a perfect homage to the buddy-cop movie genre. (By the same people who did 'Shaun of the Dead')

Well, having a moat certainly helps big time when the forces of evil come a-knocking at the castle gates. 8)
