Okay, I registered as "AbyssPlanet Klaar", and I'm downloading and installing the SL client now. Now what?
August 23, 2007 at 2:47 am #58587testosteroniParticipantJebus, that's a wet dream come true. I'm shocked you don't have people stampeding to get in!
August 23, 2007 at 2:59 am #58588testosteroniParticipantJust wondering, how many of those humungous female avatars are actually controlled by women? Awesome job btw, they look almost as good as your rendered images!

It's sort of one gigantic virtual world – you can make your character look like anything and pretty much do anything, and you interact with other people in the virtual world. I guess you can also make different sorts of locations and whatnot for people to interact with. Tigersan opted to make a gym and some huge musclebound women (and I thank him for it). 😀

Its a Second life… There are virtually no limits to what you can do in the game, you have to create it tho.
THeres a 3d modeller within you can upload your textures, sounds, animations in bvh format. So basically
You can create whatever you want script it and it can shoot, bullets, cum, shit, apples, cars lolol whatever you want.
Theres a Learning curve to it tho. http://www.secondlife.com, you can join for free…August 24, 2007 at 6:14 pm #58592Amazon LoverParticipantAlso, one thing of note: while you don't need a cent to get into SL (Second Life), having money allows you to purchase more goods, services, and land in SL (In fact, you can't own ANY land without money). It all depends on what sort of membership you have:
If you've got cash to burn, a Premium Membership could be fun; it allows you to own land (But you pay for it on a monthly basis), and you can use your credit card to purchase Linden Dollars (Or "L$"), the currency of SL.
If you're not rolling in dough, but not terribly low on money either, I'd recommend getting a Basic Membership with Payment Info On File. With that sort of membership, you aren't REQUIRED to pay money regularly, but you can still charge your credit card to buy L$ for in the game. That way, you can spend as much or as little as you feel like in SL. This is, if you ask me, the most advisable membership to get.
And lastly, there's a Basic Membership with No Payment Info On File. This membership is good for people who can't spend much, but it sort of sucks to have. You can't buy anything (You could still look around for freebies, "camp" for money, or visit money trees) and some people will avoid you (Some people create these sorts of accounts so they can cause trouble and never get permanently banned from SL, as their credit card isn't used to keep track of their troublemaking).
Hope that helps you out!

August 29, 2007 at 9:22 pm #58594~Jaymz~ParticipantI was on second life a few times but every time I download the software no less than 2 hours later my Internet explorer fails and I have to uninstall the SL program :'(
You should propably try out Mozilla Firefox. It's pretty similar to Internet Explorer, but it works better and it's more secure than anything from Microsoft. I prefer Opera myself, but you really have to get used to it. 😉
