    The trailer definetly bombed, so yeah, I figure the movie will bomb too.

    BTW, is this forum still about female bodybuilders, or are we now supposed to post/and discuss random stuff?

    Yes, there is a forum section here that covers FBBing (being a frequent poster, myself) – but Amaz0ns also has other forum sections that cover a number of other topics – as well as non-related subjects (i.e. the Free for All section.)

    Oh it IS going to suck. Just by this trailer, you all know where this story is going. It’s going to be a singer/band gets famous, turn on each other then redeem themselves in the end kind of movie. I’ve seen the cartoon and aside from Jem and the holograms, everything else is wrong. Juliette Lewis is a gender swap of Eric Raymond and where are the misfits? You know what’s ironic? This show was the embodiment of the 80’s and if Hollywood did respect the source material by adapting the cartoon, critics would complain about how outdated the movie is. However, Nostalgia Critic was right, modernizing a movie for the 21st century makes it more outdated.

    Juliette Lewis just rocks, as an actress and a person. Always willing to try something new and daring. Wish
    more people were like her in society, instead of conformist sheep.

    despite having juliette Lewis it doesnt change the fact new jem reboot is ripping off a tired cliche
    we’ve seen this movie already when it was Josie&the pussycats
    Plus it’s the Justin Bielber story made into a film

    It always amazes me how hollywood could beat out , all the elements that made a TV show so endearing to it fan base .
    the only one exception was the star trek reboot , IMO
