    Check out that link. Can anybody tell me the name of that muscle tissue contracting in Carol's left thigh? I believe that's the muscle that connects from the hip area and down around the inner thigh.

    I looked it up. That's probably the satorius muscle, a.k.a. the Tailor's muscle. 🙂

    The slang term for that is "thigh rod".

    Looks kinda strange when it's the only muscle that's prominent.

    Yeah, it's not a muscle I see often in most bodybuilders or fitness competitors. Maybe Frank Cho wanted to emphasize an obscure muscle? Realistically, with Ms. Marvel's past and the the nature of her powers, who's to say which muscles have developed better than others? I don't buy most of the physiques in today's superheroes.

    If we're talking about the right thigh (monitor-wise), I think the colorist has over-emphasized the muscle a bit. And would it be that apparent, with the leg in this position, on a person not really cut?
