    Still…I respect her. The fact shes trying to be able to compete does bring a smile to my face.

    Not necessarily if it’s tight fitting. I’ve seen the barbell to hit the belt during the snatch pull several times and nobodys banning those. I’m not getting where’s the risk in covering your limbs since many use loose clothes in training and have no problems with it. And the judges could see the lock outs just fine.

    Using common sense is not prohibited.

    And as for the lady, lots of athletic activities and Ph.D. from great university. Tough chick.

    It’s one for the courts. Assuming her “garb” gives her no intrinsic advantage and is not demonstrably unsafe, I suspect she’ll win. She should. I wish her the best.
