AWESOME work.  😮 I've been a fan of your art for a good while now, but I think you've out-done yourself this time.

Thanx, didnt know i had people keeping track heh  😉

I warned you man. Keep showing that pic and Imma break your damn kneecaps off. 😛
still love this pic… great work Hig. 😀

pfff!! big deal they only a convenient form of convience from point A to point B

Excellent work… makes me want to try that tutorial myself.

Give it a shot dcm, its definitely quite a bit of fun.  Id suggest tryin out the palette knives to move teh paints as it gives u stronger edges and doesnt fade things as much. Instead save the add water feature for minor details and faces, where u want a softer edge on things.

I do say that is very impressive. Better than my first attempts. I too tried her tutorial but realized it definitely wasn't for me. Good Job!

Yume Dust's tutorial is alright but too program specific and depending on the level of detail it doesn't work out that great. She does try the same technique in Photoshop and it shows that it doesn't work out the same.

I say keep going, try another one with a different tech. Eventually you'll discover your style and approach and be done in like 15 hours or so. But no matter what style you choose I guarantee it'll take at least 15 hours.

I agree veins can be a bitch. Oppps, sorry  😮

I am anticipating your next one. Booyah!!

Absolutely great drawing and colouring, Higalack – if that's your first, it is a little scary to think how good they will become…

It's definitly alot better than my first attempt at that technique.  ;D

The only thing I'll note is that next time around you may want to do some extra pass's with the 'just add water' tool to get rid of some of the hard brush strokes still left.

But other than that, you definitly have a really great grip on that technique.
