Roffle, these are old, I am bored, and you lot all seem kind enough to where even though these are really not good, I still actually feel like I can post them. Plus I seriously need some constructive criticism, since you know, I would love to improve and be able to actually make respectable morphs someday.
Dont stone meh too hard nowes. >.>
Does anyone know how to get rid of the background warping effect when using a program like winmorph, btw? That really detracts from the quality of the pictures and bugs the hell out of me.
April 20, 2006 at 4:27 pm #26859flashHEART.EXEParticipantI have never used winmorph, so I can't help you with that. Photoshop, on the other hand, uses layers. What that allows you to do is have an unaltered background layer free of distortion from the morph effects and all that, then have your morphed layer over it. Just remove the background (or the parts that got distorted) and the background layer will show through and have your morphed part still be on there. GIMP is really close to photoshop and it is free to download, so that might be a better option for ya.

What be that sir. :"o Link?
Also, I do in fact have photoshop. I never use it for morphing, since I actually dont very well know the tools best used for that in PS, I just use it to art around (see my signiature pic and avatar, whoo).
Couldst thou give me like a short breakdown of the tools one would use to best morph using photoshop perhaps?
Also, Ill perhaps post a couple more of my newer morphs later tonight, if anyone gives a mighty care, roffle.April 20, 2006 at 5:58 pm #26861LeonardoParticipantPersonally, I think the first one is okay! 😀
April 20, 2006 at 7:28 pm #26862flashHEART.EXEParticipantThis is GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). I think it was orignally created for Linux because back in the day there was no type of decent photomanipulation/editor for Unix systems.
As far as what tools would be best in photoshop, I couldn't tell ya. I don't do morphs. The only thing that I use it for is coloring drawings and adjusting photos and the like. You could still use winmorph for the actual morphing. Just load the original image into PS as a background, take the image and morph it in winmorph, then copy that and paste it over the background in PS. Remove the distorted background parts. Other good morphing methods seem to be to use then Free Transform (under the edit tab IIRC) and enlarge parts that way.
But once again, I am not a morpher. I am sure one of the many moprhing artists dwelling around here would be more than happy to offer tips.

Yhay, I shall definitely have to try that when Im back home. I like to think that some of my pictures keep realism even though Im basically a superamazon guy myself, but you know, when you beef up a picture, even if you re-morph a morph in the same regions to keep the blur distortion off, theres no way to help that damn area warping, and in reality, the re-morphing can really afflict it even worse.
But aye, praying that them other morphers do, cause hell if some of the masters of the art of muscle morphs arent on here.
Alright. Easy brown nosing plug, but its worth a shot, loffle.
(I dont suck toes though. ;"o)And thanks for that link buddeh, Ill be sure to check it out when I have le chance.

I'm not a specialist, but I would say that you indeed improved between the first set and these. Keep going!! 🙂
