I just had to post this pic I just discovered in Michal Dutkiewicz's artorial book "Girls! From line to color"…

He said that the characters were from a comic he wanted to make and they represent two opposite forms of power – strength and seduction, although for us, the muscular character effortlessly blends both forms together. I see it all the time when artists' personal projects feature muscular women, but they can never get them published. It seems that it's not the artists' fault there aren't more muscular women in comics, but the publishers.

    I like Dutkiewicz's work.

I think when more writers put muscular women into their mainstream sci-fi and fantasy comics without hyper-sexualizing or morally corrupting them, we'll get to see more.

    Brilliant work!
I will be some time before I'm done combing through your site.

    Many thanks!
