ParticipantYes, Lingster mentioned this on the front page. I've voted three times already ::), so come on folks, let's push the percentages for buff women up a bit! 8)

ParticipantI'm hoping that it has an effect, but I'm worried that the polling is borked. :-

If you mean that it's a fix, then I agree with you. I now voted loads of times for female heroes of largeand extra-large physique and the voting %ages didn't change. I think it's dreadful that the producers make people think they're giving them a say when they're not – I wonder if they're so arrogant that they think that they couldn't possibly lose the fan-base. >:(

ParticipantI, at least, would like a count of the number of votes received- it is possible that the number of times I've voted simply isn't statistically significant, after all, even though I have voted in this poll much the same way that I've always wanted to vote in national elections- early and often.
It's also possible that, as has been implied, the fix is in and the voting is rigged; that actually wouldn't really surprise me, especially because I can't imagine that they haven't started work on the new episodes already…

ParticipantI personally don't think it's fixed. Just think about the numbers involved. Even if you vote 100 times, your votes will not affect the first decimal place as long as the total number of votes is greater than 100,000, which it more than likely is. I would say that 8.5 % of the Heroes audience liking buff chicks is pretty much in line with opinions I see expressed in society and on the internet. If anything, it's a bit higher than I would have expected.
