Bionic Whiner is what I called it, I am not sad to see its demise..but Jericho… OMG that show totally had my interest and was so freaking sweet the last episode made me scream at the direction it was heading and then…cancellation… F-you you stupid coke sniffing, dope smoking, whoring TV execs who wouldn't know a good show if it came up and bitchslapped you. I just wished Sci-Fi would have shelled out some money to move it over there…but NBC and CBS…don't get along.
Heh, I want you to man the 120mm recoiless mount on the Humvee when we go a-hunting those TV execs. 😉
I'm surprised that they canceled Jericho again. The last time they did that, they got inundated with literally tons of nuts sent by faithful Jericho fans. Canceling Jericho again so soon after that, they're just asking for fans to send metric tons of buts to them again.
Actually I was quite surprised to hear of its 2nd demise (on the radio, no less) after such an outpouring by its fan base. Really, if the producers wanted it to success, they should have marketed it to the USA channel – otherwise the 4400 and The Dead Zone would have died right out of the box on CBS, NBC or ABC.

Fucked like Doakes, or fucked like cattle with a prod?

That's not what the prod is for.

And then some. But I was referring to the barcodes that Skynet stamps on the humans.
April 9, 2008 at 3:48 pm #68984AlexGKeymasterAn addendum, I read the other day that USA channel pulled the plug on The Dead Zone and The 4400, a decision that came down from on-high back in Dec.
I'm not so much bothered by the former, that series was starting to run out of gas anyway. But with the latter, at least where it concerns the interests of the forum, I was hoping for at least one episode with a woman who gains Amazonian superstrength and greater size as a result of her shot of promycin.

don't forget to mention BtVS, one of the best in TV history.
I don't know what Whedon is doing these days, but a new 8th
season based on the comic would finally make me die in peace,
though I would probably want a 9th and 10th season as well
(Will it never end?). And if they did bring it back, you
don't need the same actors, except for Alyson Hanigan and
James Marsters. Naomi Watts as Buffy? Sorry guys, Buffy
can't be too muscular, since that would defeat the whole
point of the series.April 16, 2008 at 1:32 am #68986LingsterKeymasterDid you write that in an editor with line breaks and then insert it, Philo?
April 16, 2008 at 7:04 pm #68987Len GellerParticipantNo, just a little magic.
April 16, 2008 at 9:09 pm #68988drum monkeyParticipantI don't know how long the 8th season is going to last, but so far it's pretty awesome. Whedon's one of the better comic writers out there. Also his Astonishing X-Men and Runaways being top notch.
