Done and done. Though I hope you prefer 1960s rock.

Great work!
May 22, 2008 at 10:39 pm #68399AlexGKeymasterI think this could be a pretty good fight. But all things considered Slade may have Tet-chan's strength, maybe more, but He also has her weaknesses. Bullets can't harm Tetsuko if she BRACES HERSELF for them. Slade is still new to this and doesn't know that. (Yes I realise neither does Tetsuko at this point, but don't tell anybody.) So while the "teen-titaness" is slugging it out with Slade, the boys will distracted. Sonya just has to grab one of their guns and pop a shell in Slade. End of story.
Hmmm, not so certain Slade is her match in the strength and agility arena, this being based on the concept (assuming DCM is following something similar) that the base starting point for their transformations was vastly disproportate in physical character. Tetsuko started out as an young, healthy and athletically developed individual, whereas Slade was an aged (dying?) fossil of a man. The effect on her hyperaccentuated her body based on its preexisting structure well and beyond anything that could be achieved naturally. With him, the serum had to first expend a great deal of itself (as it was originally designed to do) in rejuvenating his body, then with what was left over, it also enhanced his physique and physical prowess, tho, I doubt no where near to the degree of hers.
So, I'd say she's got the edge on him – however, if he's got any previous experience in martial rough and tumble, conceivably he could not only hold his own, but even defeat her, if she's not careful.

What would happen if Tetsuko said yes to Slade's offer? Like he said, there would be no force on her earth that could stop her. Like AlexG pointed out, Slade is still an old man despite his treatment. So when Tet-chan is tired of him pulling her strings, she could off him and assume full control.
I think that would make a good "What If?" story arc.

It could, but DCM doesn't write Tetsuko as being like that.
May 23, 2008 at 9:07 pm #68402TC2ParticipantTime to get the fan fiction folks on it. 😀

I know Tetsuko is supposed to be the superheroine but those stories of good guys gone bad usually make for more interesting reading. Plus I would like to see Dave draw it. What his take would be on it. Even if it's just Tetsuko letting thoughts run through her head for a brief moment or two.

Tetsuko: Mistress of the Dark . . . what a thought! ;D
Tho, I doubt with so much on his plate now, he'd have time to draw her ala Elvira fashion. 8)

Still, you can't deny that Dave's artwork of Testsuko in alternate outfits is amazing. My wife almost made the Red Sonja one her desktop.
