Participant(Note: Interesting – I switched to Netscape from Safari to post this, and my images show up fine. So I guess it's the browser.)
Later:
Turns out there wasn't much to do with the Line and Pen tools, so here is the finished Ink stage.
I posted to my site several years ago.

I WANT A TABLET!…all drawings inked with mouse…. 🙁You're one of the artists I was referring to before… you'd be absolutely awesome if you could use a tablet! (Because you're already pretty awesome even with a mouse!)

ParticipantCould the software and a tablet make this artistic dunce produce work even 1/2 as good as yours, David? 'Cos if it can, I want them! ;D ::)

That's a good question. I'm inclined to believe that one would have to start with basic drawing skills, and that the software simply makes mistakes easier to correct, and special effects easier to accomplish.
(BTW, Wacom tablets do come bundled with Photoshop Elements and Painter Essentials, which are "lite" versions of their namesakes.)
Day 7:
I was able to devote most of today to the drawing, so there's quite a bit to show off. Sonya is, more or less, finished:
doing yardwork! 😮 ) But I might post more later, if I get more done before beddy-bye.
*Ever since my doctor "advised" me to switch to diet sodas, I've found that Pepsi generally makes the better-tasting diet drinks: Diet Pepsi, Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi, and Diet Mountain Dew are my favorites. Although Coke Zero and Coke Cherry Zero are very good… they taste like their sugar-sweetened counterparts.

Sorry ~David – I was joking – that didn't come through very well in what wrote. I'd need a warlock's spell to give me any artistic ability at all! It was a roundabout way of saying how much I enjoy your work.
P.S. That book sounds like ideal bedtime reading – guaranteed to send you to sleep in 5 minutes or your money back. Rather you than me!

The only diet pops that I can tolerate are those which taste like their non-diet counterparts (7-Up, Vernors, Dr. Pepper). The others all taste like crap to me. I'll stick to good, old Coke, thank you very much. I do know quite a few folks who drink Pepsi that like Diet Coke better than Diet Pepsi for some reason. :-
Btw, to stay on topic, I love how you're tutoring us in the processing of muscle girl art, Dr. Matthews. :-X

ParticipantDiet Pepsi, eh?
Back here in China, it's called "Pepsi Light" and "Coke Light." Guess "light" as a food adjective didn't hit the legal hassles here that it did back in America in the 1980s.
Those are the two diet cola options here. If you want anything else, you've gotta go to a Western import grocery (where the stuff costs about 75c to a buck a can.)
But I got my fellow teachers addicted to Dr Pepper. ;D
I drink diet, because I got wired into it with trying to lose weight, and frankly, the real, "high octane" stuff tastes too sugary to me now.
Lately though, my poison of choice has been coffee or green tea.
Oh yeah, DCM… before I forget… sweet progress. 🙂
