I never hear of this until today but somehow I’m not surprised. The newest trend is fitness people, men and women, showing they’re workout routines and showing feats of strength with usually high amounts of weights. In the fantasy world of FMG comics, we expect stuff like this routinely. But now real life people are using this actual scheme for Instagram and You Tube fame. So when they workout, they appear to be using very realistic but fake plates to appear they’re lift much more with unreasonable ease. In this video, one commentator is calling a fitness girl out and I think he might have a good case.

I see what you’re getting at. On one hand, I’m no expert, but I can’t tell how many lbs those weights are. if they’re 20-30 lb weights, that’s about 200-300 lbs which i don’t think is unreasonable. There are a lot of fitness models and weight lifters out there and I get the need for attention and fame and brand. It’s not enough to be a girl with big boobs, its crazy to be a girl with monstrous boobs to stand out. The catch is this: if those are indeed fake weights, the person/model/athlete is jeopardizing their own credibility and I’m not sure anyone would be stupid enough to do it, since its a massive risk. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but unless those guys can proof that they’re fake, we’ll have to take it as is. I will admit there are people that are actually that strong and in that video, those are squats. if a person, male or female does train seriously, it is possible to lift that much with your legs.
