ParticipantI think that aside from the 'Ultimate' lines Civil War affects all of the books in one way or another. If you look in the back of Civil War it lists all of the crossovers. Here's what's listed on the Marvel site.
Core Issues
Civil War #1-7, Civil War: Front Line #1-10, Civil War: X-Men #1-4, Civil War: Young Avengers & Runaways #1-4
Related/Tie-In Issues
Amazing Spider-Man #529-538, New Avengers: Illuminati #1, Fantastic Four #536-537, Black Panther #18, Cable & Deadpool #30-32, Captain America #22-24, Daily Bugle: Civil War Edition, Fantastic Four #538-543, Heroes For Hire #1-3, Iron Man #13-14, Ms. Marvel #6-8, New Avengers #21-25, Punisher War Journal #1-3, She-Hulk #8, Thunderbolts #103-105, Wolverine #42-47, X-Factor #8-9, Civil War: Opening Shot SketchbookJune 6, 2006 at 1:55 pm #31610Prophet Tenebrae
ParticipantThey never make these meta-events easy to follow and… if you're to read it all, it sure ain't cheap.

Well that is the point. The big crossovers are just a tool for boosting sales. Granted, some of them are pretty good and are handled well, but most of them fall along the lines of here is some big new evil guy/alien race/fallen hero/ etc that WE ALL HAVE TO TEAM UP TO STOP WHEW THE WORLD IS SAFE AGAIN UH OH WHAT IS THAT 8-MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD!?!?
Not applying this to Civil War or anything, but I just had to rant.

Participantwell, because Civil War involves all of the Marvel Universe, and I mean all (exept The Ultimate one) it is likely to involve all of the stories in it.
There has been a lot of fuzz about everything, because only a few people know exactly what happened in House of M ( but if you read the last Avengers issue that changes) , the fact that millions of mutants lost their powers, is really intriguing. So, If you want to expend a lot of money, buy all of the tie-ins, if not just get the main storyline.
I also think that the conclussion of the actually arc in the New Avengers, and the events in Son of m will also play a part in this story.
As I said somewhere else, I like the concept, but like any Universe shattering event, it is mostly to sell a lot of books.
