ok i modified arms mesh and no matter if i import it as 3ds or obj, morphed in maya or morphed in zbrush it comes out like this, left arm is missing totally and other one has fragmented triangles…
WTF?!January 21, 2009 at 2:45 am #63700TC2ParticipantI'm going to leave this to the pros, 3d modelling importing and exporting is out of my league.
January 21, 2009 at 4:00 am #63701TigersanParticipantI figured it out i have to use 3 programs… morph it in zbrush export it to obj, then open in poser an obj, export as 3ds, then finally import 3ds in nifskope…. geezzz…
In between zbrush and poser i use maya to fix all imperfections, cuz i have to morph each part separately (torso, arms, bra, bottoms, legs) so theres no way to match it perfectly. So i import all the body to maya and fix the seam lines… THATS a loooong way vertice by vertice… guh.
January 21, 2009 at 4:09 am #63702TC2ParticipantYikes, well I know that I'm just looking for significant muscle mass that looks sculpted properly. Heavy weight body builder style, not fantasy exaggerated because it won't look right in the game. They never seemed to have thick curvy woman legs or really powerful looking torsos and legs. I don't mind if the character is naked, but seeing a decent heavyweight bodybuilder mesh asides from the nice one blurb provided, would be a refreshing change of pace.

If you look at the number of views this thread has, I think you could make a seminally important mod. I don't know much about this, but I imagine it might be possible to increase its longevity by converting this and that when the next TES game comes out in 2010 – or maybe even Fallout 3?January 21, 2009 at 5:46 pm #63705ReasonParticipantTigersan, we're all rooting for you, buddy!

I would love it if Tigersan was able to release his stable of characters, in low-poly form, for all of the main game engines like Unreal3, Crysis, Gamebryo, etc. Probably just a pipe dream, but even the odd modified muscular mesh here and there would be awesome as well.

It would be great if TigerSan made a femuscle mod for Fallout 3… 😀

January 25, 2009 at 3:39 am #63707Buddy_BusenParticipantI tried customizing the playable character mesh a while back and it was indeed a huge pain in the ass. However, the results were promising…
I hope this helps and that someone can make it work.
