I dared suppose that her womanly shape (as opposed to her "physique"/ muscularity) might have more than a little bit to do with her attractiveness to you.
I always say "For me, physical attraction begins, and ends with the face." So first and foremost, her face simply floors me.
And while I cannot disagree with the hourglass idea, I have noticed that when comparing different physiques in a "Ginger vs Mary-Ann" contest that I am not consistently drawn to an hourglass figure. It always comes down to the total package… and begins and ends with the face.
Granted, for a picture, the "bag over her head" argument holds for me when the body is insanely nice, but in real life, well, ehem… no. Have I mentioned about my thing for faces yet?
Also, the "Hourglass" thing tends to be associated with a certain waist-to-hip ratio thing. I tend to think more in terms of the waist either being especially tiny, or shapely (think Lisa Hourin pictured below).
Sindia has that same "tiny AND shapely" waist thing going much as Hourin does.
Lastly, there is always a big difference between a photo and real life. We can get a little biased here dealing so much in photos as we do. At some point, I began paying attention to the differences between the photos I liked as compared to what I found myself liking in person. Interestingly, I found I flip flop. That is, because I am looking at the total package (and because in person I am also reacting to personality) that sometimes I am less knit-picky in person, sometimes I am less knit-picky with a photo.
I have had the misfortune to encounter a person who's face resembled Lenda Murray yet is one of the most objectionable "C words" I have ever met. BTW, I hate that word. I reserve it only for the worst of the worst. Now, I am no longer able to find Lenda attractive as I once did because of the unfortunate association I make because of similar facial characteristics.

I could give you a list right now of FBBers whose bodies make me drool, but then I see the large noses, square jaws and bad skin and the attraction reduces for me.
I will say, though, that I think singling-out Lenda Murray is a little unfair because she's not, IMO the most prominent example. Half of the recent years' Ms O line-up hs been just as bad, unfortunately.

Would it not be a shorter list to instead do the FBBers whose faces you find most attractive (with a body to match)?

I think either you read it wrong or took it out of context. Perhaps if you re-read it on it's own…

Or to reorder it in a more chronological bullet point type flow…
- I once considered Lenda Murray attractive (face too).
- A few years ago I met someone with similar facial characteristics.
- That person was NOT Lenda.
- That person IS a "C word". (Read: Rotten person.)
- I later realized the faces were similar.
- Because I am so repulsed by this person with a face similar to Lenda, I can no longer look at a picture of Lenda without ALSO thinking of the rotten person.
- Being reminded of the rotten person every time I look at a picture of Lenda spoils any potential enjoyment of Lenda's picture.
- While Lenda is a different person from the rotten one, that does not change the fact that I can no longer enjoy Lenda's picture.
- Being reminded of the rotten person while looking at a picture of Lenda means I have unintentionally associated Lenda with the rotten person.
- Since the rotten person repulses me, repulsion has become associated with Lenda.
- It sucks that I have come to experience the same repulsion when looking at a picture of Lenda.
- Sucks.
- Sucks I say!
- You misunderstood me the first time.
- I have now officially beat this into a proverbial "dead horse".
Oy vey.

Rest assured that I understand you now, and it makes much more sense. So sad that you met a "lookalike" of Lenda who was such a bovine. 🙁
As for my list issue, the list isn't that long:
Sarah Dunlop
Cornelia Brandt
Marja Lehtonen (I'll upset a few here by saying that)
and, to an extent, Yaxeni.May 18, 2008 at 8:39 pm #68803phenomsParticipantSorry phenoms – I'm working VERY hard at the moment for my course, both in the laboartory and at home, so my brain is tired. Rest assured that I understand you now, and it makes much more sense.
Understandable. Tho, stop apologizing. This like much of any conversations we have on here is as much banter as anything. There's no hiding that I'm a smart aleck, and sometimes have an odd sense of humor… oh yeah, theres that hard ass in me too sometimes. Just no more needless sorries when all I'm really doing is giving you a friendly ribbing.

Ok, this is one instance where I'm uncertain how to interpret "bovine". I hear that and I think "physically unattractive", yet in context I am wondering if you mean "wretched excuse for a human being". Would you clarify please?

and, to an extent, Yaxeni.Which list is this? The smokin' bod, but throw a paper bag over that face, or the smokin' face with a bod to match? …Or the people who threatened to beat you up if you failed to mention them in lists? …Your most loyal groupie squad intent on catering to your every whim?
Ok, I'm stopping at that last one. Don't think I'll be topping it without some flash of inspiration. 😉

OK, no more grovelling apologies, I just feel bad when I misinterpret peoples' words.
My list is really a mix of "Great bod, shame about the face" and "Great bod, OK face but shame about the voice".
And the bovine stuff is because it's a British reference to you mentioning the "c-word" (I presume your bersion has four letters?) – over here, we use the word "cow" to derogatarily describe a member of the female gender who is either a bit of a b**** or is just plain ugly (or 'minging' as the teenagers say nowadays).
June 4, 2008 at 4:59 am #68805Lee WallaceParticipantHello everyone, my name is Lee, and I was doing a web search today for some graphics and stumbled across this thread on Sindia. I'm the photographer that shot her spread for 2WT. I see this thread is not the hottest topic any longer but I thought you all might like some more pics of her. She indeed had a great body. She was just about two weeks out from a comp. My wife is a figure competitor here in Fl. so we're used to seeing great bodies. I enjoyed working with Sindia and using a model with her level of physique was probably a first for this mag. I'd like to say I could use this type of body more often but I can't, it's still not extremely well accepted in this market. It's a shame as we all know how much hard work is put into getting someone in that cond.

As regards the mainstream reaction to what most of us here call femuscle – we're all too aware of the taunts, disapproval and negative reaction experienced by female physique athletes and even by us fans. I appreciate that you are also all-too used to such things.
I'm sure we'd all love to see the results of any further shoots you might have with any other physique competitors.

Do you think the paunchy guys who ride bikes (or fantasize about riding them) don't like their girls in better shape than they? Or at least the magazine photo editors think they don't? Is it that Quinones-Power's "chassis" distracts too much from the bike's? (Like high-fashion models, are motorcycle mag models supposed to be subordinate to what they're modeling?)
