Apparently, animation w/ any degree of depth put into the storyline is singled out for cancellation.

was just watching Teen Titans S5 Ep11 & 12 on Boomerang Channel when I came across this
Loved TT cartoon but Young Justice was by far superior
Not all that surprised by CN execs cancelling a show for the reason they did
It’s been that way since the late 80s

Young Justice was good show, but not a great one. There was a whole “Twilight” vibe to
the show, with sloppy teen romances (eg Superboy/Megan) and an obsession with hip
catchphrases (“Hello Megan!”). The animation was superb and the stories were generally excellent,
yet somehow I just wasn’t enamored with the any of the new characters (other than “Wondergirl”,
but that was pretty much because she was hot and could execute an amazing roundhouse kick!)

So I say, YJ was good, but it had its run. Now bring back Justice League 2. Please, Bruce Timm, I’m begging you.
