He is part of the reason we still even have Marvel comics around today and I dont think people should ignore that in the face of one bad decision.

    One bad decision?

Quesada: You know, I really hate Speedball. Let's turn him into a S&M emo, and let's wreck as many other characters as we can in the process. Tony, you're a fascist dickwad who throws his buddies into a hellish extradimensional prison now.
    Iron Man: But…
    Quesada: FASCIST DICKWAD!

Greg "I Wrote WWH" Pak: HULK IS JESUS AND HE WILL SMASH ALL!
    Quesada: All righty!

OK, point taken there about Speedball. 😀 But come on, Speedball? Who really gives a shit what anyone does to him?

I have to disagree with you on Tony Stark though. Iron Man has become ten times a more interesting character now that he's a douchebag. Stark knows he's being a prick as well; that issue where he was bawling over Captain America revealed his inner turmoil.

After all that WWH nonsense, I was happy to see Hulk/Banner die, then Banner turns up in the new Hulk book.

Well he didnt die…he was put unconcious.

Although I dont care what others said, I rather liked the WWH arc…

People aren't usually rendered unconscious with their eyes open. He looked pretty dead to me.

Banner was alive at the end of WWH, and i think they even say something like lets keep him unconcious so he won't go green again, or something like that. I liked the idea/concept of him having all that he wanted taken away from him from his "so-called friends" and then comming back for revenge, Hulk style. What I didn't like was that were it was all a set up from the guys from Sakaar. It is like they build up this huge conspiracy thing from the iluminati, but then they think it is too big for some core characters, so let's just make another one the bad guy and make they all look not so bad.
What I liked about WWH, was seeing the Sentry with thew gloves off.

And returning to the original idea, MGN seems to have a personal problem with Quesada, but I think he's got a point, they have changed too much some of the characters, and continuity is non-existant now. I think they should stop with this big crossovers, for the last 4 or 5 years, we had Dissasembled, House of M, Civil War and WWH, and we never had time to acomodate to the aftermaths of any of those events. Now everything is a mess and nobody knows what to write.

Next on Big Bad Joe Quesada's List of Ways to Trash the Marvel Universe:

Let's break up the last holy canon of the MU: Sue Storm divorces Reed Richards.

They almost did in Civil War.

Is it me, or they are completely destroying Earth-616, so everybody switches to the Ultimate Universe?

    No, they're not.

The Ultimate universe isn't doing that well either.

I think the marriage's death is good. It was developed as a gimmick like, 20 years ago, and never truly stuck outside of the 616 continuity. Good riddance to it.

I saw the marriage as a bad idea they made work over the years. What made the "One More Day" retcon so infuriating is that it was a poorly written "fuck you" to the last twenty years of continuity (and to its fans). There were more logical ways to end the marriage, but in the end when you resort to pure magic (I'm not talking about superhero "magic") then you really have run out of ideas.
