Thanks. Still have 34 names left to thumbnail for the Lust-O-Meter thread. I’m expecting it to take me another 5 or 6 days assuming I don’t skip a day or more.

I did not realize how much work it was going to be creating all those thumbnails. Where possible I’ve been trying to hand select images that would be good representations of each person and hopefully illustrate their finer attributes. With some of the names I have had to go on image searches to find a picture to use either because I did not have any pictures at all in my current collection, or because those I had did not do justice. Even after an image search, I’ve still not found pictures that I was happy with like with the Chaundra Coffey and Rene Redden pictures for example. I once had much more flattering images of each woman that have since been lost and I could not find upon performing a current search. Then I’ve been cropping and/or color correcting many of the images. And then as a final exhaustive step, I’ve been painstakingly formatting the spacing of each thumbnail and each name to line up correctly without the benefit of any html to aid me. Instead, I’ve been using periods that I hide by making them white like the current background color of the forum. If Lingster ever changes that, all those periods will stick out horribly.

I may have lost an entire hard drive worth of stuff representing years of image collecting and created artwork.

I’m posting this late since it happened maybe about a month ago. My cat decided that the external hard drive in question made a nice heat source to nap on top of. I had allowed her into my bedroom and fell asleep. When I awoke and tried to access the drive I couldn’t.

I know better than to let her near anything she might harm by accident, and I know I should have maintained a backup, but the harm is already done.

I am hopeful that it is only the external enclosure and not the hard disk but I simply am not really in the mood to take on the project of trying to salvage the drive right now.

Unfortunately pretty much everything relating to my activities as “Phenoms” were on that disk. I am back to square one.

I have unplugged the drive and put it aside in the hope of trying to recover it if I feel up to it.

I am not even sure why I decided to write this post. Oh well.

Every so often I do a search on some actress I find attractive. I think I would melt if I met Claire Coffee in person. The first place I became really aware of her was a bit part in a tv commercial for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I could not find it on Youtube. Her line is simply “John, your car is here.”

I found another commercial on Youtube that she did for Butter Finger Snackers. She is the prettier one getting zapped.

I sought out a short she co-wrote, co-produced, co-directed, and co-starred in called “Chelsey & Kelsey are Really Good Roommates”. It is up on Vimeo. She apparently has an account there with several other videos. I don’t recommend watching any of them. Sadly I already did. So I can say in addition to being super pretty, she has an odd, though not particularly funny sense of humor, and is crazy about football including fantasy football… yes, my eyes glazed over.

I got as far in the search to come across a site called Hello Giggles which has a fair number of well known celebrities as contributors. I browsed through the long list of contributors and before running out of steam at about result page 15, came across the following:
Site co-founder Zooey Deschanel, Vanessa Hudgens, Claire Coffee, and floatation device Kat Dennings.

This post is sort of just an acknowledgement to some curiosities I came across today. I figured I’d share if only to spread the suffering. (Insert evil maniacal laugh here.)
