I'm practicing my shading, and decided a good way to get the hang of it is superimposing a painting over a real fbb photo.
#1 — "Sitting on the beach"
I started out with this:
I based it off a Tina Lockwood b&w photo, and turned it into a gril sitting on a beach. It needs some work in a few areas (bug-eyed for one thing), but that's why I'm doing these — to improve.
"Warrior Princess"
I based this off of a Nursel Gurler pic.

BTW, that's blue hair, not a helmet. I just realized how much it looks like a helmet.
