For all the pros out there, here’s a pic: (not muscular, sorry )
Can you tell where I edited? Any tips or tricks for improvement? I’m new at this… Thank yooou! 🙂
March 13, 2010 at 11:26 am #90724TC2ParticipantWho dat? She’s cute.
The only edit I can assume you did is that you slimmed down the waist as that is really the only thing that looks a bit off.
It was pretty good but the right side of the waist has a crooked indentation which doesn’t suggest ribs or fat folds creating it. The colors also seem just a tad off in that the tummy appears more pale than the chest and arms.
My suggestions to truly sell the effect are to smooth out the right waist a bit more and add some midtones and richer color to the stomach so that it blends better. The closer you match all the different colors that are on the arms, chest, and face. The higher the chance you will completely sell the effect.
Very good on your first attempt, if you hadn’t told me to look twice I may not have noticed right away.

Thanks! That’s my ex girlfriend. She decided she’d try boys again so we’re no longer together, but I’m such a loser that I can’t stop drooling over her.
I actually increased her bust and arm size in addition to slimming the waist and abdominal areas… thought something looked off but wasn’t sure what.
Do you mean the waist on my right or on her right?
Here’s attempt #2 with her belly colored and part of her waist fixed. is this what you meant?
Thank you for your help. :cheer:March 13, 2010 at 8:36 pm #90740TC2ParticipantYes indeed and if you tweaked the arms and bust, it is nearly impossible to detect.
The colors of the belly match great now, I would be really hard pressed to suggest how to improve it. If that picture is posted on another forum and you don’t mention it was photoshopped I think most people will be fooled into think it’s an original.

If you really wanted to make the changes undetectable, you could just smooth out and blur the sides of her waist a bit, as they are looking a bit angular and sharp at the moment.
And yeah, she is cute, but if you with someone like her, there’s no reason you won’t meet someone else just as good!

That’s true! Or maybe she’ll come back around, lol. But I can’t count on it. I’m already dating someone else. 🙂
March 15, 2010 at 7:51 pm #90783cpbell0033944ParticipantWell, whatever the experts here say, I think the second one is most convincing, and she’s certainly a beautiful young woman, so thanks for posting your work, Sarah. 🙂
March 18, 2010 at 7:57 am #90838SarahDParticipantthis is the new girl.
Not sure what I’d like to do with this one… I like the subtle, believable touch-ups. 🙂 Also I’m a boobs girl, lol

You edited at the boobs and arms… It’s easy to spot.
Tips? NEVER work on the same layer!
