[Holiday]

Last weekend I attended a natural bodybuilding contest. The organisation is called the ANB, or Australian Natural Bodybuilding. The pictures I took there ended up better than my first attempt last October at another show. I did photograph some of women bodybuilders there, but I haven’t had time to edit and post them online. Sorry.

I’m happy that my recent shots did turn out better. Unfortunately, I missed the tall women’s bodybuilding division during the pre-judging stage. They switched the order so I already left my vantage point to shoot the only three tall contestants there. I did, however, get the chance to photograph figure star, Rosa-Marie Romero. 😆

Anyway, next weekend is another show at a much closer location. They’ll be held by the INBA which is has more strict drug testing policy. I’m confident that I can shoot better stage photos. However, I think it’s time I used my flash instead. I hate the wonky colors that will contrast with the stage lights. But I need to shoot at faster speeds than 1/60 second. I just hope I can get close like last time. During the finals they only allow official photographers up close to the stage.

There is an All Women’s contest next month. But it’s out of state and unaffordable.
