Wow, great character, and great selection of artists. 😉
August 18, 2008 at 9:21 pm #74863Eric JohnsonParticipantThe gamer in me begs the question, what are her statistics?
You can send me a line at cowprobe at gmail dot com if you have them saved in a format not easily copy/pasted.
okay, since I've had it asked, here's a cut and paste of Fuerza's character sheet, as best it fits in text format.
yes, Fuerza is vastly overpowered for a typical Aberrant campaign. And she's horribly min-maxed. However, it's very long-running campaign, and a lot of XP have been spent. And she's very min-maxed and extreme in her stats, as Fuerza as a character is about being obsessed with strength, power, and physicality. And the extremes that creates when superpowered ability to shape your body and powers comes into the mix.

August 20, 2008 at 8:13 pm #74865Eric JohnsonParticipantMega Strength and Stamina seem likely mega attributes but the meat and potatoes for me are what made her the curvy engine of 'Force' she is today
What made her what she is today? short answer: an experimental quantum-based genetic-infusion device and a lot of obsessive workouts.
much longer background:
the PCs in the campaign first met the woman would later be Fuerza back when they were dealing with the plots of a criminal mastermind. This guy had a trio of female bodyguards, Ms. White, Ms. Black, Ms. Crimson (blonde, brunette, redhead thing). All three women had been dosed with an improved version of the super-steroid "Mite", basically a version of Mite that could be used on women with less side-effects then the dangerous street version.
in a later storyline, the heroes were invesigating another villain's plots, the scientist Dr. Luann O'Donnell who had used a piece of quantum-tech to infuse genetic samples from other novas and enhance her physical capabilities, becoming the villainess Powera. To the heroes suprise, while infiltrating Powera's base, they ran into Ms. Black, who had hired on as a security guard in Powera's cover business to spy on Powera for her other criminal mastermind boss. Ms. Black offered to betray both her boss and Powera, and help the heroes get through Powera's security if in return they'd help her go through the device Powera had used on herself. Ms. Black really loved the low level mega-strength the serum she used gives her, but having seen Powera's level of raw strength, she now wanted a lot more. The heroes agreed to the deal, as they had to find a way to use up the energies charged in the device anyway before they could safely destroy it, and their chances of making it through security without the "inside help" was slim.
As she was inside the genetic infusion chamber, Ms. Black took her entire month's supply of modified mite, hoping to maximize the degree to which the process improved her physical power.
The process was a success, and when she stepped out of the chamber, she was an 8 foot mountain of fem-muscle. She soon christened herself "Fuerza", discarding her old name and past, considering herself reborn.
Not wanting to be responsible for the creation of a dangerous new supervillainess, the PC heroes took Fuerza under their wing, calling on some contacts to get Fuerza everything she wanted out of her new situation: employment using her new power, training facilities where she could work obsessively on her strength, and opportunity to compete in the Nova Olympics strength events.
Olga Svensen acts as a mentor to Fuerza, keeping her under control from time to time, and feeling a bit responsible since her genetics were among those used to make Powera and Fuerza.
Fuerza isn't really a "heroine" in the typical superhero sense. The public mostly knows her as a Nova Olympian and a celebrity superhuman. However, she's friends with people of a more heroic bent, so they sometimes call on Fuerza when they know they need more firepower, and they know there are target they can just point Fuerza at and say "smash that". They don't want to use her too often in normal situations, she doesn't always have a lot of control, and with her power levels, a fight in a populated urban area could be a disaster. Also, since Lady Dragon and Mr. N have provided Fuerza a place in their home complex with high-tech training equipment, Fuerza is an extra level of security at the secret "Dragon's Lair"
Fuerza spends most of her day working out and eating, with the balance of her time spent making public appearances for her endorsement contracts or cruising the superhuman clubs and hangouts, always ready to take on all comers in wrestling or other feats of strength.

big thanks back to you for letting me know you've enjoyed them, Ze Fly!
Considering how many things you've posted that I've enjoyed seeing, I'm quite glad to hear this from you. 🙂
August 21, 2008 at 12:45 am #7486700treeParticipantThank you for the stats and write up. I love the background. The concept of the villianess that has reformed (well sort of in Fuerza's case.) is one of my favorite backgrounds. Would you be opposed to someone else using her as an NPC in a game if they ever ran one again?

no objections.
if something I've done inspires something else in a role-playing game, that's pretty cool.August 21, 2008 at 9:49 pm #74869BlackKusanagiParticipantLOVE her background…and glad to know more about her. 😀
August 23, 2008 at 10:16 am #74870CowprobeParticipantGreat background on Fuerza!
I really like how what would have ordinarily been a doped out mite-head future ended up becoming something more constructive.
Thank you for taking the time to give us her "Official Handbook of The Shag Universe" entry. 😉

Glad you liked it.
Scarily, I probably could have gone on longer, but that's the essentials.
(and this is just a secondary character, with all the more central characters, it would take forever…) -
