Ahh ok, I was going by comic Green Lantern as I had little knowledge of JLU Lanterns limits.

Whereas in the comics I don't think he can mimic the properties of matter(i.e he couldn't make a green wave wet.)

What?  I didn't think Supergirl would be affected by Kryptonite anyways.  In the pre-JLA/U Superman show they explained  it that she was from a sister planet (Argo?) in Krypton's  solar system, so Kryptonite wouldn't affect her because of the biological differences (but she got the exact same powers somehow ).  So did they change this in the JLA/U universe?

And on a sidenote, it is EXTREMELY RETARDED that JLA Green Lantern's ring could make Kryptonite.

Oh, and there are LOTS of exotic applications of the Flash's powers that could be used to take Superman/Girl/WW down.  But they are somewhat graphic and would never be used in the show.

That and I imagine by the time he got up to speed, Supergirl and Wonder Woman(matching Superman in speed) would probably vibrate the opposite way 😉 Flash wants to do anything, he'd lose his hands. Something tells me good ol' Wallys arm is slightly less resiliant 😛

Also Kara isn't effected as badly as kryptonite, but it's similar to her planet so it harms her slightly.

Okay, yeah.  I was thinking of the Superman Adventures comics based on the animated show.  In one of the issues the Master Assasin of Apokolips attacked Supergirl with a Kryptonite dagger, which just shattered uselessly and then she gave the spiel about being immune to Kryptonite.  BLARGH oh well.

In the new supergirl comics, Batman theorises she's MORE vulnerable to krytonite…

Wonder Woman as fast as superman?  And another thing.. I doubt hawkgirl with her mace can beat superman all he'd have to do is Eyebeam her from affar or zip by with his speed an kill her in one shot.. Someone told me I think masschine, that superman could walk over any superhero if he wanted.. well i think when he was controlled in the comic series..dont know which anyhow… Whos orion anyway i havent seen him..maybe once in JLU not sure… as for the green lantern Id rather the comic drawer myself I dont like John stewart very much, as for the flash hes great!  As for the flash being able to defeat whomever did he not defeat Braniac when every other member of the league failed? with style no less

Actually, before Hawkgirl turned traitor, she was the strongest member, at least while using that magic mace of hers. She was able to beat menaces with that mace that even Superman couldn't. I realize that, in the comics, she wasn't exactly a force to be reckoned with so, Timm decided to amp her up for the series. Giving her a mace that, at times. made her stronger than Superman was a bit ridiculous. I was quite happy when we saw less of her.

    Dude, that thing's a mace of +1000 ass-whupping. 😀

I actually had to print out this page so I could address all the topics this page of posts has brought up…

Hal Jordan in the comics could make kryptonite so, not 100% sure Green Lanterns could do the same in the animated series.

flashHEART.EXE raises an excellent point I had forgotten, that the animated Supergirl is from Argo, Krypton's sister planet, and isn't affected by kryptonite as badly as Superman, unless it's as big as the chunk that was in the Travis Morgan episode.

I doubt Supergirl or WW vibrating the opposite way would affect The Flash much as he can vibrate through solid objects. Superman, Supergirl, and WW can't do that.

Speaking of off-topic, as a Superman fan it gets a little old to see Superman constantly beaten by Batman because the paranoid always carries kryptonite on his person in one form or another. I took perverse pleasure in seeing Superman beat the shit out of Batman during that "Sacrifice" 4-parter that ran through the 3 Super-books and an issue of WW during the run up to Infinite Crisis.
