Now this is something I don't think that anyone here has ever thought of (not even me for that matter), needle work of a muscle woman.  Well, my mom did.  She liked a drawing of my a lot and thought that it would work for embroidering (that and she was getting a little tired of birds and flowers).

Without further delay, heres the original drawing followed by a photo of the embroidered piece

That is DEFINATELY a first.  And I'd like to add, your mom is officially cool.

You showed that to your MOM?!  😮  You're braver than I'd be.

Heh.  And I thought "Aim to Maim" and "Use It Or Lose It" were wild things to have framed in Grandma's sampler.

Not only was the pic being embroidered a first…but that your mom did it?  😮
You deserve the grand prize for having the coolest mom, ever.  Hmmmmm…a golden Roll Casket trophy sounds like a good prize.  LOL!

IMPRESSIVE! A one of a kind work of art! (And yeah, your mom is officially cool. My mom actually showed off some of my art to her church friends!  😮 :o)

    Haha, wow. Certainly a first.

I'd just want to curl up and die if my Mum saw some of the extremes of art I do. I don't mind her seeing the smaller stuff sometimes.. but still.

    Amazing! 😀

You have balls, man. If my parents or pretty much anyone else i know personally outside of the net world found out about my work, I'd be ruined.

I'd consider myself very lucky if I were you (at least as far as having a mom you can share this stuff with).  I've had tight security on my stuff since I started.  I'm sure my parents saw some of it growing up, but I wouldn't confront them directly with it.  Now I have a little more room, but still keep my work well hidden and out of view.
