ParticipantAt one time, I was a member over at Unreal. I left because I couldn't express my views without being criticisd heavily. I started to find certain members insulting me, so I left. Unfortunately, it seems we are the only non-industry forum dealing with this issue that tries to keep decency and rational behaviour a priority.

ParticipantWOW, what a forum, what a forum! First I realized they're bringing back Quantum Leap!? And that he will leap into a FBB!? Only to be taken away from us đ I don't know whether to be disappointed at society or still be in shock over what I just read. WTF INDEED

ParticipantWhat, is this a joke? Since when did production companies make decisions based on forum discussion and emails? No production can please everyone, and offend no one, so why the hell would you try?

Sorry, I don't understand. What's hilarious about it?

It's hilarious because the stakes are so small – a few seconds at the end of an episode – and yet the schmoe screw-ups still managed to be become so unhinged that they destroyed it. It's typical.

KeymasterTo me, competitive female bodybuilding is toxic. The long term effects of the drugs and their side effects, plus the organ damage that results from the 'dieting' and unnatural lean-ness at competition time, have tainted the whole thing for me. It's a pageant of the grotesque.
Figure competitions – especially non-IFBB and non-NPC events – are better, but really the whole concept of physique competitions (as opposed to actual athletic competitions) leaves me pretty cold at this point. It brings out the worst in people and leaves them permanently damaged.

AlexGKeymasterSeems our Lady Mimi was covering all the bases. The posted feedback @ Muscle Mayhem is interesting to read, if only because itâs a center of real world BBing and a FBBrsâ forum, too. 8)

ParticipantYeah, but there will always be people who trash an opportunity for any old reason. It's the ones who don't post a reply, but instead go ahead and audition, who get anywhere in the world. Mimi's posts are attracting naysayers, but I bet that there are people who are grateful that she posted the notice and are acting on it (no pun intended!).
Some people are ambitious and recognize opportunities and accomplish things. Other people hear opportunity knock at the door and complain that it's too much work to get up and answer it. But as the saying goes, the world needs ditch diggers too. đ
