It was an SLR before it was modified Uhenlaut Coupe. The SLR was an open cockpit racer. There still are 6 of the SLRs in existence, I think.
No, that was a reply to chris because there was a mini-photo of Jana posing infromt of the 300SLR which he referred to as a W196S.

Unless the source for that photo is using a lower-case "s" for "streamlined", then that's incorrect, as the W196S (note upper-case "s") was the official works designation for the 300SLR.
