Shame she disappeared.

ParticipantAny thoughts, opinions?
Hard to say. Krisy was always one of those women who was able to develop great size and still remain feminine, much like Gina Davis. The lack of breasts however and the very masculine tone of the picture can certainly give a certain impression about her.
I'd like to see more recent pictures of her… se how she's turning out.

ParticipantProbably won't see pictures for a long time. My friend informed me that she had dropped from the spotlight and was no longer going to be doing further photo shoots or anything of the like.
🙁

ParticipantPic of Kristy Hawkins in Vegas for the USA's think her boyfriend competed at the show. She hasn't updated her blog since January :-[. Looks like she is focusing on her new profession and other things….. wonder if she will return to the pro-stage one day ::).
Why are all the big names disappearing….Jody May, Gina Davis, Amanda Dunbar, Mimi Jabalee…etc and most recently Cindy and Britt >:(

ParticipantDeep within us we all know it, but we have no courage to say it.
Female Bodybuilding is dying.

I don't think that fbb's come and go rapidly is a new phenomen.
It's a poorly funded and tough lifestyle which takes a lot of dedication which is very hard when even top of all this you are looked all the time in the public. Some like it, others won't. Injuries and health issues are always present and that easily cuts already not so good incomes.
You gotta respect those who have chosen this lifestyle. It's most definetively not the easiest path.

Krysty doesn't look like she's giving up anytime soon. But she may be taking time to settle the rest of her life before tackling the stage again.
Please remember that for 90% of the women out there bodybuilding is a hobby. A very expensive hobby. Training for a contest is very taxing and the rewards for many are simple satisfaction. And if that isn't enough they may leave.August 9, 2009 at 10:35 pm #59124ratlaf

She had a serious weight problem when she was younger and it was only through bodybuilding that she got it under control. If she were to stop, she might revert to how she was and I'm pretty sure she doesn't want that. She'll be back. Patience… ;D

ParticipantPhew! Couldn't bear to lose her so shortly after Britt and Cindy. ::)
As for AlexG's question a few days ago – Kristy has long been able to get very ripped. I think it's an unflattering angle facially (like me, Kristy has a high forehead) and the fact that she is ripped in the photo means that she looks different to how she usually does in photoshoots. -
