I have to agree with The Collector on this one. And I speak from experience.
I shot a bare bones FMG project using female bodybuilder Sondra Faas. And
while it wasn't award-winning, I thought it was a step in the right direction. I
shot a second project that's still in post-production, and I have to say that no
FX computer program can simulate the muscle — not to the degree that this
community demands.I strongly advise working with a real bodybuilder or abandoning the effort.

"In order to impress the folks, you'd basically have to match or top these following videos:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=vQptInZJbXo
http://youtube.com/watch?v=a-vflc2HLoU
http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd71/shulkiefan/?action=view¤t=savageshehulk.flv (password is bliss) if you run into a problem.I know most of those are she-hulk videos, but she's the only character that transforms like that. I personally don't have much of a thing for green, but if your video can match or beat these then you will definitely have an ENORMOUS sale of videos."
Tell me how what I just quoted explains ANYTHING you are implying now? Those three links were 2 cartoon animations and a foreign shehulk clip with no muscle growth shots that I can recall but maybe I was distracted by the shots of me spliced into it.
Hmmmm
September 30, 2007 at 9:03 pm #59685TC2ParticipantThere were some FMG shots in there actually, a noticeably muscular forearm coming out of the sleeves of a shirt, a bicep coming out of the sleeve, a slightly sweaty back stretching out the clothes from behind.
Though there were some clips of you in it, that was mainly for the chest and the foot, not the total package. At the end it shows that the character has become muscular and you can see noticeable muscular definition on her arms. Which is the key difference in say a regular clothes ripping video. It was spliced together in a way that showed that the character did become muscular in the end.
If there's no muscles in the end, then there's no FMG, and there are no special effects programs that can make someone look muscular. Your shots worked well for the in-between part because as you are a nicely proportioned lady it gives off a good effect for the middle part of the change. It's only the last part that would be difficult, because though you have lovely proportions people will know the difference between bodybuilder and shapely girl, and that will make it hard to sell the video.
I mention these issues now since I do have the technical know how on achieving these things, so you can address these issues before the video is released. Otherwise it's not going to sell very well and then we won't see a clip like that ever again. I know it takes a lot of time, I do work in the field of television and video editing after all, so I wanted to make sure the project was aware of how the demographic around here would react depending on how the video turns out.
October 2, 2007 at 9:14 am #59686MTaylorParticipantShowing me two animations and something that shots of me were cut into and then treating me(and my partner) like we were missing the point I find to be a bit unnerving. Besides when did I state that I was not using a body builder or at least the arms of one? I do recall saying "It wasn't shot for this purpose – its just a test". Orgasmic Growth didn't have any digital effects. We haven't really tried anything like that yet. But I did spend time looking around and trying to find other examples. I have looked into the animation type clips you posted. I have looked into hiring the only body builder I know of, Kristine Madison, but I would not have gotten to work on anything with her until I already shot it. It was an early test to see if anything could be done to satisfy the request when it came to being able to make a transition from one arm to the next. Relax and try to give me a little credit.
Is anyone familiar with Kristine? She is with one of the agencies I work with but I do know know anything else about her.

Keep it up, guys….just keep it up and we won't get anymore awesome videos.
I love this place to death, but some of you guys need to buy a clue. I'm sorry. I had to say it.

Agreed, if you want your perfect dreams to come true go do it yourself and quit pestering her. Next thing you know they will be whining about how it isn't the exact shade of green.
October 3, 2007 at 6:20 am #59689TC2ParticipantLet's not mis understand here,
Some folks have been around a long time, and there have been numerous times where someone claimed to do a clip in this genre and ended up letting a few folks down. Either it was a bad camera angle, terrible effects, no noticeable change etc. Those let downs eventually lead to skepticism and so it's a bit difficult to not want something to be perfect.
A few of us "have done it ourselves" I've got my animations and Smitty did his own video clip, but since Ms. Taylor wants to make a video that she would charge for, all we did was offer what we know.
I have a video background and know what I'm talking about when it comes to editing, shooting, and effects; which is why I decided to nip it in the bud so that the project Taylor produces go smoothly. After all this is a project that people are going to get charged for, that's really the only reason we brought these issues up. If we're going to pay to see this video, well it has to achieve a certain standard. Anytime something involves money, people are going to speak and raise their expectations.
Sorry if it comes off unnerving, but we've wasted our money on bad videos and we always hope that the next one will be a worthy investment.

Now to answer Taylor's question.
From what I googled on Kristine, she seems to be in the adult video business. Not a big fan of that area so I didn't click on any images, if she doesn't have an agent you might be better off finding someone from this huge list here:
By reading some of the profiles certain BB's could be asked if they would like to do it. For the FM community who is used to waiting, how fast you finish your video is not important, it's more important you find the right "body" to help you out and take your time with your production than to finish as fast as you can. You could do other videos if you wanted in the meantime, because this community is definitely used to waiting; waiting a little more for getting it 'just right' would not be a problem.

*sighs*
I've been around just about eight years now and all I'm seeing is the same whining and bitching and moaning about the same old bullshit. No one is ever satisified when it comes to the genres of FMG, GTS and SH.
NEVER.
There's always going to be some whiny prick moaning about how the person producing the clip didn't do this, that or the other. And then they cause a huge uproar about it…but there's always one lacking factor..
What's that, you ask?
You sketch out EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN DETAIL OF WHAT YOU WANT AND TALK/WORK WITH TO THE PERSON PRODUCING THE CLIP.
Example:
I wanted a SH story featuring a goth girl (and a billion other things, because I'm a picky whore). I told Terry this. He cranked out a story that to this day, still makes my toes curl. And i can't thank him enough for it.
That's it. I just asked and then he had correspondence and worked together on it.
No "This is what you should do" or "Here. Look at this and do it like this"
So, rather than bullwolfing down her neck about what she should and shouldn't do….JUST BLOODY ASK. And it's not unnerving…it's just downright rude what you're doing. I'm sure Taylor doesn't really care what your background is. SDhe's on here, putting up content for you and you're just being a total wad, so the fact that you're more or less shoving what you want down her throat just makes you come off in a less than pleasant light.
Do you have any idea what shit us girls have to put up with on this board? Any idea whatsoever?? If you did, you'd be a little more polite. We're not slaves. We're not pieces of meat. We're people and we're trying to do out DAMNEST to make sure you guys get EXACTLY what you want when it comes to clips, pics, etc.
Fuck. I think I need to take another sabbatical from this place.
October 3, 2007 at 10:30 am #59692TC2ParticipantI've spoken with plenty of the women on the board, and I've heard their horror stories. So yes, I do know what they go through and I'm not one to treat any of them as pieces of meat.
Those clips weren't examples of what -I- wanted, they were examples of what is good quality video. I personally could care less for green skin, yet the she-hulk clips were the only good ones to show. That way she doesn't have to start from scratch, rather she has a place or an idea to start from and go from there. I don't -need- or -want- anything because I just may well do it my damn well self, since I do know how to f**** draw and animate why the f*** would I ask or demand anything? All I'm pointing out is the most popular videos that most fans of the community would watch over and over again. People WILL be satisfied as long as it's done right! It has been done right a couple of times and those that were done correctly are saved on my HD, those that were not are easily forgotten about. It's like comparing the MadTV "Dot turns into Hulk" scene and "Paul Smith's Creation FMG" video. Needless to say the MadTV one obviously sucked, while Paul's was stupendous.
People are under the assumption that it's so freaking easy to do these kinds of videos and it isn't until they start shooting that they realize how f'ing hard it is. All I was doing was trying to make sure she didn't end up running into the most common obstacles, because once they hit they practically destroy the entire concept of a video. Crappy video = no money. No one is going to pay for MadTV Dot into Hulk, but they would probably pay for Paul Smith's creation video. It does aggravate me a bit that people think shooting and editing is so easy that anyone can do it, it's a bit insulting to my profession and it's hard for me to keep my mouth shut on that topic because it is a passion of mine and it's almost like smacking me in the face.
And what you're talking about is a collaboration, yes I've done those before too and they worked out marvellously. I'm not asking for anything though, all I did was point to some clips that were good examples of what's worth money to the FM community so that Taylor can make her money and everyone goes home happy. If I was going to ask of something it would have been through PM's and in private, not something I'd post on here; and don't lump me in with the a**holes that like to PM and harass the female members of the community because of those I do talk to, they know that would be a completely wrong assumption. I'm actually even quite offended that I'd be lumped in that category, considering all the help I've given to the female members of the community.
So instead of ganging up on my ass for expressing my opinion and pointing in a direction, just go do whatever it is you all are going to do and be done with it before the thread ends up getting locked due to a damn misunderstanding.
And for the last time, I don't want or demand anything. I'm sharing my damn knowledge of the demographic and what a majority of them like so it's easier for Taylor to have a foundation to build from when she makes her video doing god knows what. It doesn't matter if it was asked to or not, when you come to the FM community and tell em you're going to sell them a video of their favorite genre, someone is going to say something; better it be me than someone else who is more obnoxious, because there are many more "unknown" members here that would be far worse than the small things I've said.
So please, enough, because all this frustration is getting directed to the wrong person and I don't appreciate it.
Taylor good luck with your project.
