I dont take offense,Shemusclelover, I just come round with a pick-axe handle to persuade you to change your mind.

"A man came up to me and said,
'I'd like to change your mind
By hitting with a rock,' he said,
'Though I am not unkind.'
We laughed at his little joke and then
I happily walked away
And hit my head on the wall of the jail
Where the two of us live today."Whistling in the Dark — They Might Be Giants

ParticipantAlright, here's an odd one… does anybody remember the old Bucky O-Hare cartoons? I remember when I was young I used to love that series, for whatever reason, although only 13 episodes were ever made.
I think it'd be interesting to see Jenny from that series, the psychic catwoman, pumped up. I used to have a thing for her, I'm not afraid to admit it now.
Uh…

ParticipantAs usual, Pete, you've done an excellent job drawing a musclular woman, but unfortunately, Kagome's face is a little off. Honestly, Pete, I've always found your characters' faces to be a bit iffy. Since I also draw, I know that improving one's artistic skills is a constant, lifelong process, and one must always look for one's weak points and try to work on them. This area, I feel, is your weak point in your otherwise excellent artistic skills. I hope that my advice has been helpful, and you are able to use it to further grow as an artist.

ParticipantFace points accepted and understood…
For me, Manga/Anime type faces have always been a bit of a problem. Mostly because there is nothing proportional about them…the normal rules of anatomy dont apply too strictly.
….and I havent drawn that many of this type of lass, so better quality faces may come in time and with practice.

ParticipantI've got a book on drawing anime characters; if I ever get my &*#$ printer/scanner to work, I may scan the section on drawing faces. Otherwise, look out for the "Manga Mania" series of books on drawing anime, all of which are drawn and written by Christopher Hart.
