NSFW if muscular babes in chain-mail bikinis are not allowed π
For you, mangamuscle … Resident Evil characters next … then … Tetsuko! π
I altered the pose slightly, found a decent chain-mail bikini texture (not perfect, but good), and gave her long flowing red hair! I also made the lighting a bit more dramatic. Hope you like it!

As an observation the floor is a bit too bright and what applies in comics applies also in 3D renders, to make a pose more dinamic it is better to depict it at the start of the range of motion or at the very end of it.
I look forward to seeing your next render π
April 27, 2006 at 9:26 pm #27443AnonymousGuestThanks for the feedback … Someone at Renderosity thought the swords were too "dead", so I re-rendered with different reflection settings, and postworked some light effects in … Too much?

The hyper gleaming swords remind me of the movie Excaliber. πΏ
Rina seems to be quite the versatile model.
Here's hoping her explorations into other genres proves fruitful. π

Mhh, seems the sword in her right hand uses the same texture in the wall; if it is a reflection maybe the sword should hint there is a doorway or monsters or somebody. Don't know if possible at all, but IMHO to add more "pizzaz" to the scene it would have been better to add other special effect to the weapons, blurr (to represent speed, no need to blur her arm, a quick wrist movement can move a sword at high speed), magical fire (green, red, blue) around the swords or maybe an enemy sword or axe clashing with the sword in her left hand. I have to admit I have no idea if any of this would be feasible ^^;
April 28, 2006 at 2:34 pm #27446AnonymousGuestThe right-hand sword is indeed reflecting the wall, not using the same texture … There's no doorway there in the model of the room she's in, so any door/window would have to be postworked. And I could have put something off-camera to reflect there, but I think it would have been too small a relfection to tell what it was.
As for "magical" effects, those would have to be postwork as well. As I've said before, my drawing/painting skills are very minimal, as are my tools, so I think it would have ruined an otherwise good render. Oh well, there's always next time… π
April 28, 2006 at 3:51 pm #27447john barryParticipantit looks great……my opinion would be to make a more extreme pose like the end of the stroke. Much more dramatic than the wind up.
April 29, 2006 at 7:32 pm #2744810-4ParticipantImpressive.
