For those not in the loop, this is the competition that’s effectively replacing the defunct Ms. Olympia that’s coming up August 22.
There’s a list of qualifiers who made it with names many of us should be happy with including Lisa Cross, Yaxeni Oriquen, Debi Laszewski,
and Rita Bello. It’s still missing some names (IMHO) to give it more zip, and most disappointing is Alina Popa as attending but not competing. I’m guessing she’s still recovering from her bicep tear but that’s pure speculation.
Plus blast from the past Christine Envall.
Funny that – I recall mentioning a while back that I’d heard that there wasn’t going to be a Ms. Olympia in with the men’s contest this year, and I was told that I was wrong and was made to feel like an idiot…
so why are we not doing a petition for the Ms.O??
