    I like Maria’s cute little laugh and the way she was so focused that she was surprised by someone being up there.

    Not experienced in climbing so I couldn’t tell if Miss Ly was wearing a safety harness. :blink:

    protip:

    This video was shot from someone standing on the ground, she was basically climbing along the ceiling of a rock surface. In “bouldering”, which this is labeled as, a person climbs without a harness because the distance to fall isn’t very far, it’s more about technical ability than vertical ascent. There are usually huge foam pads under the surfaces where people boulder.

    I went out to Boulder about five years ago and tried it with some friends. I was surprised at the number of truly buff women at the popular climbing sites. Unfortunately I tore a muscle in my left hand years earlier doing carpentry, it rarely caused me any trouble previously but when I got about 50 feet up the rock face my left hand locked up. I had to descend one-handed.

    So I’m not doing that again.
