Guys, I think The Price Is Right's Bob Barker is sadly finally showing some signs of senility.
Barker Says O'Donnell Could Replace Him
The late, great George Burns was right. Retirement is a BAD idea. 🙁

June 17, 2007 at 10:21 pm #53968RichardParticipantActually I quite liked Rosie on the View. Now I'm not saying I agreed with all of what she said and the way she chose to talk about certain issues. What I did appreciate was that she spoke her mind, not like most of the automatons doing TV these days. A lot of what she said was true but we don't allways want the truth do we!

She gives us girls a bad rap, and there is nothing more offensive and repugnant than a loud mouthed blubber mouth that might as well kick and scream for her to be the center of attention. I don’t march around here in Chicago for people to accept me or my opinions, and neither should she. She goes against every characteristic a woman should be… I value a strong willed woman, but only for her family and/or wife.
I wish I could slap the shit out of her.
Sorry, she just really irritates me. I’m usually not this emotional about things… well, I am about a nice buff babe, but that’s for another thread.

Hmmm, not much liking for her round here, is there? 😮 ;D
June 20, 2007 at 11:28 pm #53971Vollar-TileParticipantI don't really care too much on one hand, but on the other, The Price Is Right was one of my favorite childhood shows.
….Yea I know it's not a kid's show, but then you're 6-10, you watch what your parents are watching or die of boredom.
Still, nobody short of Jesus could replace the Bark man.

Probably true, but I'd like to see John O'Hurley host TPIR. He already looks somewhat like Barker, and has that perfect "game-show host" persona.
OTOH, if Rosie did get tapped for the job (shudder!), she wouldn't have much chance to spout off her lunacies. It is, after all, a game show.
June 21, 2007 at 1:45 am #53973ChuckParticipantI don't know DCM… remember the stint of comedian Louis Anderson on Family Feud or the antics of that other old guy on the original Family Feud way back in the day? I think it'd be akin to putting a lit powderkeg on stage and waiting for it to go off.
June 21, 2007 at 1:53 am #53974ScottGParticipantJohn O'Hurley would be a great host of TPIR.
June 21, 2007 at 6:03 am #53975MaxxCParticipantI wonder if Tom Kennedy (Nightime TPIR) would be due for a short comeback if the CBS Brass can't make a decision? It's likely he's as old and less in shape as Barker though.
Never seen John O'Hurley unfortunately.
