Oh my lord- that's frackin' hysterical.  Ther are people who actually need this stuff?  I suppose that the bit about how to dial if you have no actual spinny-thing could be useful- if you happen to be a total loser…

I'm convinced the world started to go downhill when touch-tone replaced those things. ;D

I have one I keep in the hallway near my front door – a Kellogg "Red Bar" from the 40s.  It's been rewired for a modern modular jack.  I don't have cause to dial it very often, but sometimes I do.

Nothing wrong with the phones themselves; I'm laughing at people who can't figure out the correct care and feeding of the buggers without a how-to manual…

That little 'how to' makes me feel old. I remember when most houses still used rotary phones. Now granted I was young, but still. That's like have a 'how to' telling how to use a cassette player, but I guess they have those too.

Thank Christ. I've lost family members in deadly rotary phone dialing accidents.

IF ONLY THEY'D HAD THE INTERWIKI SOONER!!!!  :'( :'(

    Excuse me for a moment……

(quickly draws curtains so no one sees the rotary phone in the basement, 400 vinyl albums on the shelves, 65 cassettes in a rack and the PC with a 5.25 drive still in it.)

    Luddite! ;D 😀

Just joking – I too have a fondness for older technology.
