It's rant time, YAY!  😮

Some things have been brought to my attention recently and I figured since it involves growth role play (RP for those in the know) I decided to post it here.

It seems some women I know are getting some odd if not a bit dirty requests and comments sent to them in IM form, and some fella's are thinking nasty things because some ladies won't respond to them. 

Now first off I'd like to think that here among all places one could post and list their comments and sex without being sent obscene messages.  Now I know some people out there like it dirty, others don't, but there are some common things we all need to keep things civil, before any one gets scared away or turned off from this wonderful love of growth we all share because of some over eager chatters.

Here are some thoughts I have on this issue.

First, never send an IM to anyone for the first time asking them if they RP, want to grow, what they're wearing, or how horny they are. I feel its best to get to know some one first, then gradually ask them if RP interests them, and if it does, then ask them if they wish to try it with you, and if they say no, then just drop it, maybe later you could try it again, but not every night or every week.  Usually if some one wants to RP, once they get to know you a little better, they may bring it up.

A good RP is compromise.  Not everyone likes the same thing, so maybe you'll have to include something you might not like, and in return the other person may include something they are not too  into, but if its all for fun, it works.

Also an RP is not one person doing all the creating and typing while the other "enjoys" themsleves in one form or another.  There should be an equal exchange, it should have emotion, creativity, it should flow like a story, not a list. 

Finally, for those who "really get into" the RP, when you're, umm, done enjoying it, don't just log off, make sure the other person has "enjoyed" it at least some what.  I hear a lot about people who tend to log off just after the climax of a story, especially where one person did most of it and now the other feels like their kinda hanging.

There are guys that pretty much just skim sites like amaz0ns, overflowing bra, the process, BEA etc. to find girls to molest. They can't be reasoned with, they don't feel pity or remorse and they absolutely will not stop until they are blocked.

Seriously though, you'll always have some putz that thinks it's his god given right to molest any girl that puts contact information on, as irritating as that is.

These are the same sort who have no problem asking an author or artist for personally tailored works and will pester the hell out of them by email or IM in increasingly demanding tones until you block them.  You're better off trying to sort out world peace than reason with them.

Thank you Magnus, for every nice guy that's IM'ed me sense I put my yahoo IM (3) here. I've had atleast 10 pervs that acted like the gender sign was a free 900 number, or a random GTS story generater >:( . They pissed me off to the point I had to tell them to go away. They either had no idea what they were doing was wrong or no shame in doing it!

For my money, I think for girls it can be better to start out in a chat and see how they get on there.

Random story generater? That must happen a lot because people are usually surprised when I RP with them and tell them if they like they can sit back and I'll weave the story so they might enjoy for a while.

I'm glad to see so far no one's complained that my post is too preachy.  And I know I'm probably just talking to the trees by posting it, since most of the ones who have been affectionatly described as the "scum" or "pervs" will not really pay attention.  I just wanted to get it off my chest though, hate to see anyone being screwed around with is all. 

And if anyone wants to vent further, email or IM me, I listen, or read I should say.  And if I hear about anything getting too out of control, I'll start a "perv" forum where one can list names and emails of pervs. LOL  ;D

Fair point, and it doesn't surprise me that it happens. But as pointed out above, you can't really reason with people like that. But a rant is a rant  🙂

If anything, know that the majority of the folks who are here regularly are in complete agreement with you.
