ParticipantHello FMG friends,
I haven’t been around in awhile but finally have a rather musclelicious update to my comic at DA that I think you may enjoy (if you search, there are older prior threads about it). If you do enjoy it and/or have suggestions it would please me no end if you leave me a comment! “Same New Woman,” http://anarcha.deviantart.com/ I’m really amazed at the insightful, helpful comments I’ve received so far–it’s really helped me to improve. Anyway,
Best!

ParticipantHi,
Same New Woman, my comic/graphic novel at DeviantArt, http://anarcha.deviantart.com/ is up to Ch. 4 now!
It also now exists in new! improved! webcomic glory w/banner and more atmosphere:) at http://snw.thecomicseries.com/ (and I w/continue to update at DA).
If you like rich, developed story w/your FMG I hope you’ll check it out.

ParticipantCheck out the latest page at http://snw.thecomicseries.com/comics/ , I think you’ll enjoy.
I’m findiing that my FMG-oriented (embedded?) comic doesn’t seem to appeal to a broader audience even w/a strong storyline. No one says “yechh’ or “stop that’ but there seem to be few comments or views. I almost feel like ppl are avoiding it!:P If you have any ideas/links where this story might be enjoyed, I would appreciate any suggestions.:)

ParticipantI’m following the RSS feed, so I don’t show up on your hit counter unless I click through to comment, and I haven’t been commenting on the revised strips because I’m not a sensitive enough observer to pay attention to the differences. Sorry 🙂 .
I wish more people could see past the comic’s surface and appreciate the characters and the story. But humans are human.

ParticipantI don’t think anyone is avoiding your comic, but posting here at amaz0ns definitely won’t get you the response you’re looking for.
However, I do want to mention that I hope you’re mainly posting these comics for your own self satisfaction and are not waiting for the audience to chime in and tell you that they love the comic. I have seen this trend in many artists including myself and it wasn’t until later on I realized that I was not doing my art for the right reasons waiting for them to comment.
Also the FMG is very subtle, so unlike most comics related to the genre, it takes some worthwhile patience to go through and see a gradual transformation. Unfortunately, not many people are that patient and most are too lazy to comment or forget to do so.
Amaz0ns hasn’t been a great place for comments in a long time, the steep drop in artist threads is proof of this. Since I don’t visit other sites, I cannot say what will get you more hits, but I would just keep working on the comic no matter what.

ParticipantThanks, yara, I know you’re there as well as a few others who enjoy the story. I’m very lucky to have a small group of talented readers who’ve actually hung in there over time–who can ask for more? I just get jealous when I compare myself to others who get loads of comments after uploading a page that looks like it took 10 minutes to create –but it’s always a setup to compare apples to oranges so I’m trying to refrain from the shallow comparison trap. The main reason I post my pages is to find a few good readers, like you.
