    I was just recalling a story I found on a female transformation YAHOO! Group, in which a girl has the heart of a lioness transplanted into her body in place of her old defective one and transforms into a big muscular werelioness.

    Interesting, can't say as I have read it, but your description reminds me of a female TF-lioness character from the 70s GK Comic title The Occult Files of Dr Spektor.

    Can't help you in your search, I'm afraid, but I just wanted to say that this story sounds very cool, and, I would imagine, potentially very emotionally powerful if written correctly, almost a  :'( of joy and hope-type story. (Yes, I'm a bit of a crybaby, my secret is out! ;D)
