Okay, it’s my turn to ask others about a particular story that may or may not be lost to the annals of time.

To my knowledge, this story was only posted on the old Grey Archives. It’s the story of a woman named Sarah (Sara?) who wishes to steal the power and strength of the god Set. She thinks she has a way of controlling him when summoned but it doesn’t work exactly as she planned and he turns on her after appearing before her. He starts to have his way with her (remember that the Archives was an erotic site) and while that is happening, Sarah manages to turn the tables on him and starts transferring his strength, power, and muscles into herself. At the end, she destroys Set himself and sets her sights on a couple of heroines. I believe that the storyline was started from the heroines POV. There were 3-5 total stories involved if my memory serves me right. I do know that Sarah had a butler or man-servant who helped her as she was the sole heir to a vast fortune. After she destroys Set, she begins to call herself Sar-Set (which her butler always seems to forget and calls her Sarah).

I’ve searched what appears to be the remnants of the Grey Archives to no avail. Can anyone help me? Does anyone remember this story?

Well, I finally managed to find the story and saved it to my HD. The title of the story arc was “The New Isis”. Evidently, the Grey Archives listed on the Wayback website only provided viewable backups on certain dates. I searched several of the backup dates and finally found one that allowed to me to search the old website until I found what I was looking for. 😀

I’m thinking of looking up an old Supergirl/Vampirella storyline (not sure if it was called Dark Supergirl or not).

If anyone is interested I can reprint the Isis storyline. However, the story is adult erotica and I’m not sure if would be allowed to be posted on this site.

and is labeled as Not Safe For Work (NSFW) you can post the story.

Well, I finally managed to find the story and saved it to my HD.

And don’t forget to save it to a flashdrive or whatever you use as a backup media.

Speaking of lost stories, there’s so many of them that are seemingly gone. I can remember a She-Hulk / Star Trek story that was posted @ ZZZ’s Everything Grows forum by (**I think**) MrMergers where a gal was blended with a muscular alien in a transporter accident. Another, and I’m not exactly certain where I saw it, a story archive, possibly linked to the Process forum, kinda a gender-bender one w/ a nerd/geek guy and his non-girlfriend friend on their way to a fantasy convention, they stay overnight at some inn, and he goes bed not exactly feeling great and wakes up the next morning as a tall, Amazon/Titaness female, much to his distress – at least, at first.

Then, there’s that one that Hi-Standard left unfinished, The Inheritors . . . B)

Yeah, the story is archived there, called (not surprisingly) “Fusion” the author was Greenwood.

I sortof recall him as one the usual suspects that posted on the ZZZ forums.

Unfortunately, seems that GW never finished the story,
stops abruptly after only five chapters, which seems to be a penchant with many FMG writers.

Reminds me of how DCM has left his two comic stories (Derek, and the other one w/ the giant robot)
linger in limbo, hasn’t done anything w/ either of them (as best I can tell) since 2015.
