Much more to be made doing this than FBB. Also unlike FBB – this is not Subjective – it is OBjective meaning the best one will win unlike Contests where one never really knows what the judges want and like.
Not only is the return on investment nearly non-existent for FBBing, but the $$$ cost that you have to put into yourself is high. Besides the covert expense of PEDs, there’s a laundry-list of vitamin/mineral/protein etc supplements you have to use (which add up to a serious bite into the monthly budget) as well in addition to the regular diet, which is strict-managed even in the off-season.
There are the social costs – you have live a regimented, disciplined life that revolves around getting to the gym almost every day, being at the gym for a required duration every time. Then, there is your day job (one must pay the bills if one is going to eat, have a roof over their head etc) . . . this doesn’t leave you with much time for an outside social life.
Then, there are the cumulative negative side effects from PEDs – I don’t think I have to elaborate on that issue. At a certain point, it’s not surprising that anyone would want to drop out from competitive FBBing, if they want to retain/regain a semblance of their femininity.
