ParticipantYeow! Did you guys read this issue? Man, she sure gave Starfox a beating! And then some! But I'm getting tired of Greg Horn's covers. I want a bigger, more muscular image.

ParticipantI went to pick it up yesterday, but my Comic Store didn't have it for some reason. No spoilers please. 🙂

ParticipantI picked it up and finished it. Loved the image they used on the first page. I always enjoy Dan Slott's writing, and I hope the quality stays good as Jen becomes involved in Civil War.

fasolaParticipantwell, got it, read it, liked it
Slott's work keeps being inpresive. He really brought her back. The fact that he began to make a difference between Jrn and Shulkie is amazing, and I think it will be put to the extreme in Civil War.
Conrad's work is amazing, and yes that openning page is priceless. Also the punishment Starfox get's is great (artwise).
Now we get Nº8, the Civil War tie-in, with Paul Smith in the art department. I got some samples, and I'm not too pleased, but I'll wait untill the issue comes out.
The fact that they are getting guest artists since Bobillo left, is making me kind of nervous. I know it seems that the series sell good, but not getting a permanent penciler is not a good sign, at least for me.
Here is a preview for nº8 that I found.

ParticipantDid anybody notice the difference in build from the first page to the last pages? If she gets riled up I get she'll be as buff as in the last series!

ParticipantIm glad bobillo is gone. He did her no justice. 😀

ParticipantI think Bobillo's style worked well with Slott's humor. Conrad doesn't draw enough facial expressions.

ParticipantWell don't get too used to it there is a new regular artist in She-Hulk #8 scheduled for this week. Paul Smith's She-Hulk looks rather shapeless. Well muscle-wise.

ParticipantHmm. I really like Will Conrad's style, so it's a shame for me that he's going. That snippet of Paul Smith's work that Masschine linked to (thanks!) doesn't exactly fill me with optimism, either… 🙁

fasolaParticipantWell, Bobillo did go well with Slott's style, and also, he was the only one (at least for me) to give Jen and Shulkie a facial similarity. they look like the same person and not two copletely different characters
