ParticipantThis week She-Hulk continues her adventures as bountry hunter.
She's looking good, and so is her Skrull partner. I haven't seen this kind of dynamic since the early days of Xena and Gabrielle.
Which brings me this question: which superheroine do you think has the best female sidekick now?
Wonder Woman is stuck with that dead weight, Nemesis. But Arana has had a good appearance in Ms. Marvel. The new Quasar recently lost Moondragon, but who knows how long that will last.

Would you care to elaborate? I'm still unconvinced as to why she left the law firm and settled into a trailer park. And she comes off like a geek when she makes the pop culture jokes.

I'm with you Delmo, I don't know what PAD is doind or where he wants to take the character. the only positive thing, is Moll's way of drawing Shulkie, she is really buff.

From what I understand of it, PAD had Shulkie leave the law firm because he didn't think he could convincingly pull of the technicalities and legal jargon that Slott did so well in his run, and he would rather try something different then stumble and fail attempting to emulate someone else.
An in-character reason, however, has yet to be given.

It's hard to put into words. How does a writer as good as Peter David take Jennifer, who was a lawyer/superhero, and turn her into a distaff Colt Severs? Hell, he had a better place to live and a better set of wheels. There's that quote where David said that, with proper handling, She-Hulk could be Marvel's WW. WW hasn't had a job this bad since Bill Leobs stuck her in a fast food joint. This all might've been made easier to swallow if we had seen Jenn's departure from the law firm, hooking up with Super Skrull's daughter, and setting up this bounty hunter job.

ParticipantBe honest with you… I'm seeing this in the same light as PAD's take on Supergirl. The whole "earth angel" was a misconceived idea from the get go. PAD seemed to realize his mistake but took steps too late to correct them. The book was canceled and "punched" out of continuity by Superboy Prime.

KeymasterTo me, Peter David seems more interested in putting his mark on characters than in telling good stories. I was happy with She-Hulk as she was.
