Another reason for Tony "King of Dickwads" Stark to die in the most horribly painful manner possible.
April 28, 2007 at 1:09 am #51130ChuckParticipantHEAR YE HEAR YE HEAR YE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I work in a comic book shop and all of these things we have hereto heard are LIES!
When I went into the shop this morning first thing I did was grab an issue of Exiles to check this out. This page is not in it. I went in the back to get the cash drawer and spied the store's preview copy of next week's Incredible Hulk.
Lo and behold, Incredible Hulk 106 is what this page is taken from.
But that's not all sports fans.
Four or five pages into the issue after Shulkie meets a kid organizing support for the Hulk, Doc Samson shows up and immediately gets on She-Hulk's bad side…
Let me put it this way… you will like her when she's angry.
If I find any pictures previewing She-Hulk beating down Doc Samson in Hulk 106, I'll post them. But rest assured, She-Hulk is NOT powered down.
So free gamma radiation for everybody! She-Hulk's alive!

Marvel just came within inches of losing me as a fan, just then. Damn glad they didn't wipe the only girl worth watching.

With the sole exception of John Jameson (aka Man-wolf/Star-god), her taste in bed mates of late has not much to be desired – seemingly she'll sleep with
anyone, any lowlife including (stop that shouting in the back of the room, let me finish!) Cain Marko, (aka Juggernaut).“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”

"I don't like it when you're green! Be little Jen! I'm an alpha wolf! Woohoo!"
That's all I hear when he opens his mouth lol.

I happen to like Juggernaught. He reminds me of a freind I had. He was kind of a jerk but when push came to shove he was one of the most dependable friends I had. As I got to know him better I realized that his tuff guy act was just his way of protecting. This guy had a realy bad family life and being nice was seen as a sighn of weakness so he got used to being a jerk even though deep down he was really nice. Thats the mentality I think Juggernaught has now in the comics.

Allelujah!
April 30, 2007 at 3:39 am #51137ChuckParticipantEither way, I'll be keeping tabs on World War Hulk now. She still has the nanobots in her, but I don't know how effective they are. This in no way removes Tony Stark from my "Do not trust" list.
Maybe he'll experience a rebirth like Hal Jordan, maybe not. But once you tamper with She-Hulk in any way, that just crosses one more line that he should not have crossed.
April 30, 2007 at 8:43 am #51138The Muffin manParticipantUh… if depowering her is simple… one assumes that the same trick could be used on the Hulk? Or would that be asking too much of continuity? I assume there will be some easy explanation… but I imagine Jen will be able to get her powers back… or Dan's book is dead.
Bruce never had trouble changing back in forth. My guess is, this is mimicking whatever made the gamma charger necessary. More than likely, if she gets anywhere close to hulking out again, it'll "heal" over them though.
Or this is in Exiles and not in 616 Continuity and Jen is still big and green 😛
Damn glad they didn't wipe the only girl worth watching.
Ms. Marvel? 😛
Also, while this would piss me off, I understand they'd have SOME sort of story.
She-Hulk is FAR from my favorite. Now, when they depower Spider-man, we'll talk… -
