ParticipantThis is an awesome rendition of She-Hulk, and I like the body language of the boy and the dog. However, the colors seem a bit on the pale side to me, especially on Shulkie. Also, saving it as a gif has resulted in some dithering artifacts. Perhaps it's worth using Photoshop to change the mode to RGB and adjust the Hue/Saturation a bit.

ParticipantHonestly Reason I was terribly disappointed with the color version, so much so that I am going to color it myself and just take as long as it takes. I didn't say anything originally because I felt I may be too close to the piece to pass judgment. The artist evidently tried to use new software on this piece and apparently wasn't as proficient as he was with his regular software. In his defense he is redoing it for me so hopefully it will come out better. I was heart broken when I received this coloring and the person that recommended this colorist was stunned. This colorist's other work is really very good. Just an off day I guess. Some good though, I am now studying color very diligently.

ParticipantActually, I was going to recommend redoing the coloring yourself, but didn't want to offend the colorist. You could do what you do did with the drawing and keep posting your progress here and let the experts give you feedback on it. A number of them have posted excellent coloring tutorials on this very forum, which might be good to at least take a look at first. They may also help you decide what style of coloring you are going for, eg sharp-edged cartoon/comic style or smoothly-blended airbrush style.
My best piece of advise to you is to use several layers. This will let you erase and adjust different elements of your painting independently. Oh yeah, and stay clear of the gif format. It's only good for lines with flat colors, and even then you would use a png instead.

ParticipantHere is a picture I created with the help of the experts of the board.
Thanks for sharing both with us. And the coloring, even if it isn't perfect isn't so bad… 😉

ParticipantAnother great bunch of finds, ze-fly. The thing I found interesting was that three of the artists were women (at least the names indicate such). And the one from Sherry had an impressive bicep flex.
