Was wondering how I missed He man reboot? Now I remembered, I skipped it because I hated it. I like the original art better. Also they put in way too many flashy moves, it just looks dumb. For example every character will twirl their weapon behind back and somersault back wards. Just really not necessary. Twirl your sword behind your back is basically suicide when not fighting total idiots.

Speaking of sword twirling…I had so much hope on D. Ridley for Ep. VIII…

I took Kendo when I was a kid. There is no way some swordsman would twirl the sword around and leave a huge opening. Because anyone with a quick slash can kill you the instant twirl your sword behind your back. I know it’s fiction, but some are just so ridiculous that I hated it.

There was a video on Youtube which pointed out the 3 times Rey should have died in the sword fight and criticizing the lack of proper technique. The stunt coordinator clearly didn’t do his homework when training her on how to fight properly.
